    In this paper we characterize Q-modules and almost Q-modules. Next we estblish some equivalent conditions for an almost Q-module to be a Q-module. Using these results, some characterizations are given for Noetherian Q-modules.

    On coprimely packed rings

    Let R be a coprimely packed ring and S a multiplicatively closed subset of R. In this article we investigate conditions under which S-1 R is a coprimely packed. It is also proved that if R is a Noetherian integrally closed domain, then R[X] is a coprimely packed ring if and only if R is a semilocal principal ideal domain.

    On the prime radical of a module over a noncommutative ring

    Let R be a ring and M a left R.-module. The radical of M is the intersection of all prime submodules of M. It is proved that if R is a hereditary, noetherian, prime and non right artinian and M a finitely generated R-module then the radical of M has a certain form.
