Publication: Fiziksel engelli ergenlere verilen cinsel sağlık psikoeğitim programının etkinliğinin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
Amaç: Bu araştırma online cinsel sağlık psikoeğitim programının fiziksel engelli ergenlerde cinsel sağlık tutumları üzerinde etkinliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapıldı.Gereç ve Yöntem: : Bu araştırmada, ön test, son test, izlem ölçümlü randomize deneysel desen kullanıldı. Çalışmanın evrenini, Türkiye Omurilik Felçliler derneğine üye olan 12-15 yaştaki ergenler oluşturdu (N:600). Araştırma 55 ergen ile tamamlandı. Çalışma verileri “Katılımcı Bilgi Formu” ve “Cinsel Sağlık Bilgi ve Tutum Envanteri’nin” “Tutum Ölçeği Alt boyutları” ile psikoeğitimden önce, eğitim sonunda ve 3.ayda izlemde toplandı.Bulgular: Cinsel sağlık psikoeğitim programı sonrası, müdahale grubunun kendi içinde son test ve 3.ay izlem puanlarının ön test puanına göre daha yüksek olduğu, ancak gruplar arası farklılıklarda müdahale ve kontrol gruplarının arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı belirlendi (p>0,05). Müdahale grubunun, cinselliğe ilişkin tutum ölçeği (F=5,785, p=0,008), cinsel davranışlara ilişkin tutum ölçeği (F=5,596, p=0,008) ve cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklara ilişkin tutum ölçeği (F=5,477, p=0,009) puanlarında anlamlı bir artış oldu. Toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri, cinsel istismar, cinsel sağlık ve kişisel hijyene ilişkin tutum puanlarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmedi (p>0.05).Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları; online cinsel sağlık psikoeğitim programının fiziksel engelli ergenlerde cinselliğe ilişkin tutum, cinsel davranışlara ilişkin tutum ve cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklara ilişkin tutumlarda etkili olduğunu göstermekte olup, programın cinsel sağlık hizmetlerinin geliştirilmesine kullanılabileceğini düşündürmektedir.
Objective: This research was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the online sexual health psychoeducation program on sexual health attitudes in physically disabled adolescents.Materials and Methods: In this study, a randomized experimental design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the online sexual health psychoeducation program in adolescents with physical disabilities. The population of the study consisted of adolescents aged 12-15 who are members of the The Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey (N: 600). The research was completed with 55 adolescents. Study data were collected with the \"Participant Information Form\" and the \"Attitude Scale Sub-dimensions\" of the \"Sexual Health Knowledge and Attitude Inventory\" before psychoeducation, at the end of the training and at the 3-month follow-up.Results: After psychoeducation, it was determined that the post-test and 3-month follow-up scores of the intervention group were higher than the pre-test score, but there was no significant difference between the intervention and control groups in the inter-group differences (p>0.05). Psychoeducation was found to be effective in the intervention group's scores on the attitude scale towards sexuality (F=5.785, p=0.008), the attitude scale on sexual behaviour (F=5.596, p=0.008) and the attitude scale on sexually transmitted diseases (F=5.477, p=0.009). There were findings that it was effective. No significant difference was detected in attitude scores regarding gender roles, sexual abuse, sexual health and personal hygiene (p>0.05).Conclusion: The results of this study; It shows that the online sexual health psychoeducation program is effective on attitudes towards sexuality, attitudes towards sexual behavior and attitudes towards sexually transmitted diseases in physically disabled adolescents, suggesting that the program can be used to improve sexual health services.
