Abstract
yatan başka hastalıkları bulunan çocuklar COVID-19’a karşı yüksek riskli duruma düşmektedir.
In the early stages of the COVID-19 vaccinations, children were excluded from the vaccination programs. The early finding that children are relatively less affected by COVID-19 infection than adults, clinical trials of vaccines could not be performed on children, and the hesitancy and widespread fear developed in communities against the vaccination due to the unknown effects of the vaccines on children can be considered as main reasons for this exclusion. The mutations that the COVID-19 virus has undergone during the pandemic made children vulnerable to this virus, and especially children with other underlying diseases are at high risk for COVID-19. Therefore, most countries included children in their vaccination programs in order to prevent children from getting sick and being harmed. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate and examine the current approaches to the ethical problems emerged due to the vaccination of children.
