Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul idarecilerinin yapay zeka teknolojisi kullanım durumu ve yapay zeka teknolojilerinin eğitim süreçlerinde kullanımının faydaları ve getirebileceği sınırlılıkların incelenmesidir. Bu doğrultuda, çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomonolojik yaklaşım metodu kullanılmıştır. Örneklemede ise uygun örnekleme teknikleri tercih edilmiştir. Öncelikle eğitimde yapay zeka teknolojisinin hangi alanlarda kullanılabileceği incelenmiştir. Öğrenci başarısının takibi, öğretmenlerin performansının değerlendirilmesi, okul kaynaklarının yönetimi gibi alanlarda yapay zeka önemli rol oynayabilmektedir. Ancak teknolojinin kullanımıyla ilgili bazı zorluklar göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Bunlar arasında veri güvenliği, manipülatif olabilecek algoritmalar ve teknolojiye erişim eşitsizlikleri gibi konular yer almaktadır.Çalışmanın bir diğer önemli noktası ise okul yöneticilerinin bu teknolojiyi kullanmalarının nasıl sağlanabileceği noktasında sunulan önerilerdir. Bu minvalde yöneticilerin teknolojiye yatkınlığının artırılması ve gerekli eğitimlerin verilmesi gerekmektedir. Ayrıca okul yöneticileriyle iş birliği yapılarak teknolojinin etkili bir şekilde kullanılması için stratejiler geliştirilmelidir. Söz konusu hususlar bağlamında bu çalışmada Türkiye’de devlet ve özel kurumlarda görev yapan eğitim yöneticileri ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme metodu kullanılarak görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Okul yöneticilerine ülkemizde bu teknolojinin ne derece kullanıldığı ve kullanımının gelişimi noktasında neler yapılabileceği konusunda sorular yöneltilmiştir. Öte yandan bu teknolojinin doğurabileceği olumsuz sonuçlar da tartışılmıştır.Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, eğitimde yapay zeka teknolojisinin önemini ve potansiyelini vurgulamakta, okul yöneticilerinin bu teknolojiyi etkin bir şekilde kullanarak eğitim kalitesini artırma fırsatlarını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. -------------------With the advancement of technology, great changes are taking place in education. The main purpose of thesis is to examine use of artificial intelligence(AI) technology by administrators and benefits, limitations of use of these technologies in educational processes. It was also attempted to compare the use of this technology in educational management and supervision and educational processes in the world in general and in Turkey. Case study method, was used in the study. In sampling, appropriate sampling techniques were preferred. First of all, the areas in which AI technology can be used in education were examined. AI can play an important role in areas such as tracking student achievement, evaluating teachers' performance, and managing school resources. However, some challenges related to the use of technology should be considered. These include issues such as data security, potentially manipulative algorithms and inequalities in access to technology.Another important point of the study is the suggestions on how to ensure that school administrators use this technology. At this point, administrators' predisposition to technology should be increased and necessary trainings should be provided. In addition, strategies for effective use of technology should be developed in cooperation with school administrators. In the context of these issues, in this study, interviews were conducted with educational administrators working in public and private schools in Turkey using semi-structured interview method. School administrators were asked questions about the extent to which this technology is used in our country and what can be done to improve its use.
