[Subjects and Methods] The study included 43 healthy university students, 15 females (34.88%) and 28 males (65.12%), attending the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Marmara University. The age of the participants ranged from 19 to 27 (mean age 21.2 +/- 1.7 years). Strength, balance with eyes open, balance with eyes closed and flexibility were evaluated under four different conditions of wearing holographic EFX (R), PWX (R) and placebo wristbands, and no wristband. [Results] In evaluations of strength, balance with eyes are open, balance with eyes closed and flexibility, a significant difference was observed in favor of the placebo wristband compared to the PWX (R) wristband. For the other tests, holographic wristbands had no effect on strength, flexibility or balance with eyes closed. [Conclusion] It was concluded that holographic wristbands, which are marketed asergogenic aids, have no effect on strength, balance or flexibility.Publication Open Access THE EFFECTS OF CERVICAL RANGE OF MOTION ON POSTURAL STABILITY IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC NECK PAIN(BMJ PUBLISHING GROUP, 2019-06) AYDOĞDU, ONUR; Aydogdu, Onur; Kilic, Gulsah; Tasbas, Tolga; Sari, ZubeyirPublication Open Access The Effect of Kinesiology Taping on Respiratory Muscle Strength(2012) AYDOĞDU, ONUR; Zübeyir, Sari; Nilüfer, Kablan; Burcu, Camcioglu; Onur, Aydogdu; Bahar, Kavlak; Ufuk, Yurdalan Saadet; Gülden, Polat MinePublication Open Access THE EFFECTS OF AN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY APPLIED AS VIRTUAL REHABILITATION ON CLINICAL OUTCOMES IN ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT INJURY(CENTRAL BOHEMIA UNIV, 2017-09-24) POLAT, MİNE GÜLDEN; Aydogdu, Onur; Sari, Zubeyir; Yurdalan, Ufuk Saadet; Polat, Gulden Mine; Hajek, P; Vit, O; Basova, P; Krijt, M; Paszekova, H; Souckova, O; Mudrik, RIn recent years, many different technologies on virtual rehabilitation have been produced and used in research. However, existing studies are limited because most of them focus on the balancing ability of the elderly or studied stroke patients with same systems. Thus, it is necessary to investigate the effects of a new virtual rehabilitation system in patients with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Reconstruction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a virtual rehabilitation system using a MarVAJED (R) system which provides visual and auditory stimulus aimed at educating and controlling the joint proprioception, range of motion, pain intensity, and knee swelling in individuals with an ACL injury. A total of fifteen patients with ACL reconstruction participated in this study. In addition to conventional physiotherapy, a virtual rehabilitation treatment was applied with visual and auditory stimulus for a total of eight weeks, three sessions per week. There were statistically significant improvements in measures of proprioception, range of motion, pain intensity, and knee swelling between pre- and post - treatment (p<0.05). We concluded that this new VR system known as MarVAJED effectively treat ACL patients by improving proprioception, range of motion, and by decreasing pain intensity, and knee swelling.Publication Open Access MOBILE-PHONE-BASED HOME EXERCISE TRAINING PROGRAM IN PATIENTS WITH KNEE OSTEOARTHRITIS(BMJ PUBLISHING GROUP, 2019-06) AYDOĞDU, ONUR; Aydogdu, Onur; Sevin, Uhud; Sari, ZbeyirPublication Open Access THE EFFECTS OF KINESIOTAPING ON JOINT POSITION SENSE AND POSTURAL STABILITY FOLLOWING FATIGUE PROTOCOL(BMJ PUBLISHING GROUP, 2017-06) AYDOĞDU, ONUR; Aydogdu, O.; Sari, Z.; Yurdalan, U.
