Publication Open Access Okul Öncesi Dönem Çocukların Öz Düzenleme Becerilerinin Annelerine Bağlanma Biçimlerine ve Annelerin Ebeveynlik Davranışlarına Göre İncelenmesi(2019-11-15) URAL, OZANA; DİLAN BAYINDIR;OZANA URALÖz düzenleme becerileri, akademik başarı ve sosyal yetkinliğin en açık yordayıcılarından biridir. Bu nedenle, bu becerilerin gelişimini etkileyen değişkenlerin belirlenmesi önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, 60-72 aylık okul öncesi çocukların öz düzenleme becerilerinin annelerine bağlanma biçimlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ve annelerinin ebeveynlik davranışları ile çocukların öz düzenleme becerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem İstanbul’da farklı anaokullarına devam eden 84’ü (% 49) erkek, 88’i (% 51) ise kız toplam 172 çocuk ve bu çocukların annelerinden ve öğretmenlerinden oluşmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak Öz Düzenleme Becerileri Ölçeği, Oyuncak Öykü Tamamlama Testi ve Çocuk Yetiştirme Anketi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, annelerine güvenli bir şekilde bağlanan çocukların öz düzenleme beceri düzeylerinin güvensiz bağlanan çocuklardan daha yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, annelerin itaat bekleyen davranışları ile çocukların öz düzenleme becerileri arasında negatif bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular, ebeveynlik niteliğinin öz düzenleme becerileri üzerindeki doğrudan ve dolaylı önemini vurgulamaktadır.Publication Metadata only Examining School Related Factors Leading to Dropout Through Children's Conceptions and Experiences: Development of a Scale for Attitudes Towards Elementary School(AUSTRALIAN ACAD PRESS, 2010) URAL, OZANA; Erktin, Emine; Okcabol, Rifat; Ural, OzanaDespite state support for mass education in Turkey, there are many primary school children who do not attend school or who drop out before finishing school. This study is part of a project investigating the problem of school dropout in a district or Istanbul. Factors related to school, such as failure, non-acceptance by teachers and peers, poor attendance, and low levels of involvement, have been associated with increased likelihood of dropout. Modifying the instructional environment, strengthening school membership, and creating alternative schools have been suggested as means to prevent dropout. A questionnaire assessing attitudes toward school was administered to 480 students from 13 elementary schools for the purpose of identifying the characteristics of schools that lead to dropout. Karma araştırma modelinde tasarlanan araştırmanın iki çalışma grubu (Çalışma Grubu-I, 48-72 aylık 168 çocuğun anne-babası ve Çalışma Grubu-II, 48-72 aylık toplam 257 çocuk) mevcuttur. Araştırma kapsamında “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Sosyal Problem Çözme Becerileri Aile Görüşme Formu”, “Sosyal Problem Çözme Becerileri Ölçeği”, “Wally Sosyal Problem Çözme Testi” ve “Sosyal Yetkinlik ve Davranış Değerlendirme-30 Ölçeği” olmak üzere beş veri toplama aracı kullanılmıştır. This study aims to analyze the effect of MFSEPon parent self efficacy and their skills in promoting the growth of their children. In the research conducted in cooperation with theMarmara University and Mersin Yenişehir Municipality, 17 and 15 volunteer families made up the experimental and control groups,respectively. In other words, the study group comprised a total of 32 families. During the research process, MFSEP material wasgiven to the families in the experimental group, and the MFSEP was implemented with 12 sessions over 9 weeks. The families in thecontrol group were not given the material and were not included in the sessions. MFSEP implementations were carried out witha hybrid model where face-to-face and distance education technologies are used together. The families in the experimental andcontrol groups were subject to pretest and posttest applications at the beginning and end of the sessions, respectively. Moreover,qualitative data were gathered from the families in the experimental group through a semistructured interview form. The results ofthis study indicated that MFSEP participants differed with respect to self-efficacy levels statistically and that MFSEP made a positiveand significant contribution to the development levels of the children of MFSEP participants owing to the developmental activitiesthat were offered and implemented by parents with their children at home.
