Abstract
Amaç: Tam seramik restorasyonlar genel olarak ideal estetik, uygun opasite ile translüsenslik, renk stabilitesi, iyi biyolojik cevap, subgingival marjinlerde yumuşak doku ile uyumluluk ve aşınmaya karşı direnç gösterir. Bu çalışmanın amacı üst çene anterior ve premolar dişlerine lamina restorasyonlar uygulanan hastanın 4 yıllık klinik takibini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve yöntemler: Orta hat diasteması ve mikrodontik lateral dişlere sahip 40 yaşında bayan hasta, estetik olmayan diş şekillerinin ve pozisyonlarının düzeltilmesi için Marmara Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi’ne başvurdu. Klinik ve radyografik muayeneler sonucunda orta hat diastemasının kapatılması için ortodontik tedavi, asimetrik dişeti formlarının düzeltilmesi için gingivoplasti yapıldı. Preprotetik tedaviler sonrasında maksiller anterior dişlere ve küçük azı dişlerine tam seramik lamina restorasyonlar yapıldı ve adeziv olarak simante edildi. Bulgular: Restorasyonların 4 yıllık takibinde hastanın estetik, fonksiyon ve fonasyon açısından herhangi bir şikayeti bulunmadığı görüldü. Sonuç: Lamina veneer restorasyonlar ile iyi estetik ve fonksiyon elde etmek mümkündür.
Aim: All-ceramic restorations in general show: ideal esthetics, matching opacity with translucency, inalterable color throughout time, a good biologic response, compatibility with soft tissues in subgingival margins and no corrosion or wear. The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical 4 year follow – up of a patient with laminate veneer restorations. Material and methods: A 40 year old woman, who has midline diastema and microdontic lateral teeth, referred to Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry to change her unaesthetic teeth shapes and positions. After the clinical and radiographic evaluation, orthodontic treatment was made for closing the midline diastema, gingivoplasty was made for the adjustment of asymmetrical gingival topography. After preprosthetic treatments, all ceramic laminate veneer restorations were made to maxillary anterior teeth and premolars, then the restorations are cemented adhesively. Result: During 4 years of follow-up, the patient has no complaints in terms of aesthetics, function and phonation. Conclusion: Laminate veneer restorations show good aesthetic and functional results.
