Abstract
Veriler normallik
testine tabi tutularak normal dağılıp dağılmadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin
analizinde SPPS 23 for Windows paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel
The aim of this study is to investigate the job satisfaction and burnout levels of badminton trainers. For this purpose, it is aimed to reveal the situations that affect the badminton trainers positively or negatively. The universe of the study consists of 102 active active male and female badminton coaches who have been national athletes’ coaches in Turkey at different levels, affiliated with the Badminton Federation. In this context, the personal information of badminton coaches and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and the Maslach Burnout Scale were used. By applying normality test, it was determined whether the data were normally distributed or not. SPSS 23 package program was used in the analysis of the data obtained. Descriptive statistics and One Way Anova (one-way analysis of variance) were used in analyzing the data, and Tukey test was used to determine the difference between groups, and t-test for independent groups was used. Statistical significance was accepted as p <0.05. In order to determine the relationship between the job satisfaction levels and burnout levels of the trainers, Pearson correlation analysis was performed at the 0.01 significance level. As a result of the research, it was determined that the internal satisfaction scores of the badminton trainers who participated in the study were 49.7 (low) and the external satisfaction scores were 26.02 (low). When examining the occupational burnout sub-dimensions of the participants, it was found that their emotional exhaustion scores were 12.3 (low), depersonalization was 6.1 (low), and their personal failure scores were 24.3 (high). In the study, when the variables of the institution they work for and the amount of monthly income were examined in terms of job satisfaction, a statistically meaningful result was found about the job satisfaction of the trainers. When the burnout levels of the coaches were examined in the study, it was found that the work hours of the trainers had a statistically significant effect. In this study, variables such as gender, age, marital status, years of service, coaching level, educational status, number of children and the number of athletes did not make a significant difference on job satisfaction and burnout levels. It has been observed that their working hours affect the level of burnout, and the institution they are affiliated with and the amount of monthly income significantly affect their job satisfaction level. In this context, it is concluded that when the working hours and monthly income of the trainers are rearranged, there will be an improvement in their job satisfaction and burnout levels.
