Abstract
4,4-difluoro-4-bora-3a,4a-diaza-s-indacene (BODIPY) compounds have emerged as an important central structure that has
attracted attention by scientists in recent years with their strong
absorption bands, high fluorescence quantum yields and interesting optical properties.. Its multifunctional structure facilitates
the design and synthesis of molecules for the desired application.
In particular, it has been reported in the literature that BODIPY
derivatives substituted from the 2nd and 6th position are used in
some applications such as optoelectronic materials [1], electrochemical sensors [2], energy casettes [3] and photopatterning
studies [4].
In this study, BODIPY compounds containing styrene groups
in the 2nd and 6th positions were synthesized and their structures were characterized by common characterization methods.
In addition, the optical properties and crystal structures of the
original molecules were studied.
