Yokluk Nedir? Seyfeddin el-Âmidî’de Ma‘dûm Kavramı Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu makale, slâm kelâmının erken dönemlerinden beri canlı tartışma mevzularından biri olan "ma'dûmun neliği" meselesini, Eş'arî kelâm okulunun önde gelen isimlerinden Seyfeddin el-Âmidî (ö.631/1233) örneğinde incelemeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda makalede şu sorulara cevap aranmaktadır: Ma'dûm nedir? Ma'dûm bilinebilir mi? Ona şey denir mi? Ma'dûmun bir gerçekliği var mıdır? Allah'ın ilmi ile yokluk arasında nasıl bir ilişkiden bahsedilebilir?" Bu yapılırken, Âmidî'nin yöntemi izlenerek bu sorulara verilen farklı cevaplar ve bu cevapların felsefî temelleri de irdelenmiştir. Sonuçta ise Mu'tezile ile Ehl-i sünnet arasında belirgin ayrılık noktalarından birini oluşturan ma'dûm probleminin, bir lafız tartışması mı yoksa temel bir farklılık mı olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.

his article aims to examine the problem of what mu’düm is, which has been one of the most heated debate topics from the early time of Islamic Theology, in the example of Suyful-Dm Ill—Amid? (d. 631/1233) who was one of the most eminent thinkers of Ash’arî school of thought. In this context, it seeks answers to the following questions: "What is the non-existent? “Is it possible to know the non—existent?” “Is the non-existent a thing as the Multazila claim?" In doing so, following the method of Ill-Amish, different answers of these questions and their philo— sophical basis are ımızlysed. As a result, whether the issue of mu’düm, which was a one of the division points between the Multazila and Ahl al-Sunnah, was literal discussions or fundamental difference is revealed.
