Publication: Gümrük Birliği’nin Türkiye ekonomisi ve Antalya sanayi üzerine etkileri
Abstract
Yaptığımız bu çalışmada 01.01.1996 tarihi itibariyle yürürlüğe giren GB'nin bu güne kadar geçen süreçte Türkiye ekonomisini ve Antalya sanayi sektörünü nasıl etkilediği incelenmiştir. Son 4 yılın istatistiksel verileri çerçevesinde GB'nin ne gibi sonuçlar doğurduğu dinamik ve statik etkiler başlığı altında tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, statik etkiler açısından GB'nin Türkiye ekonomisi ve Antalya sanayi üzerinde olumsuz sonuçlar doğurduğunu göstermektedir. Ancak bu olumsuz sonuçlar GB'nin ilk yıllarında iddia edildiği kadar büyük değildir. Dinamik etkiler açısından ise GB'den beklenen fayda henüz sağlanamamıştır. In this study, it is examined that how does Custom Union effect Turkish economy and specially industry of Antalya province since it became valid in 01.01.1996. At the frame of last four years' stastical datums, it is studied that what sort of results did Custom Union bring about under the headlines of dynamic and static effects. The findings show that from the viewpoint of static effects, Custom Union caused negative results to the Turkish economy and industry of Antalya. But these negative results are not great as it is claimed at the beginning. On the other hand, from the viewpoint of dynamic effects, expected benefits has not provided yet. However, because of the features that Turkey and Antalya province has, in the next years, appearance probability of positive dynamic effects is increasing.
