Abstract
Korunma ihtiyacından dolayı ortaya çıktığı düşünülen örtünme/ giyim Paleolitik dönemden günümüze dek pek çok değişime uğramıştır. Sanayi devriminin gerçekleşmesi ile tekstil ve giyim sektörü çok hızlı bir şekilde büyümeye ve gelişmeye başlamıştır. Bu değişimi izlediğimizde Sanayi devrimi ile (giyim) moda hayatımıza daha fazla görünür hale gelmiştir. Benzersizlik ve yenilik arzusunun tetiklenmesi sonucu hızlı tüketim anlayışına dayalı bir tüketim şekli toplumlar tarafından benimsenmiştir. Tüketici talepleri doğrultusunda üretim gerçekleştiren firmalar hızlı bir şekilde ihtiyaçlara geri dönüş sağlayabilmek amacı ile düşük maliyetli hızlı üretim yöntemine başvurmuş olup ihtiyaç fazlası üretim yapmaya başlamışlardır. Hızlı moda anlayışını benimseyen firmalar iş gücü sömürüsü, fazla atık üretimi ve çevre kirliliği gibi problemlere yol açmaktadırlar. Öte yandan bu problemlere karşı birçok sürdürülebilir üretim ve tüketim yöntemi geliştirilmiştir. Tüm bu ilişki ağında sıfır atık kalıp tasarımı, dikişsiz giysi üretimi ve dokuma yöntemi tek bir yenilikçi deneme altında bir araya getirilerek sıfır atık dikişsiz dokuma giysiler geliştirme denemeleri bu tez kapsamının belirleyici konusu olmuştur.
The covering/ Clothing, which is thought to have emerged due to the need for protection, has undergone many changes from the Paleolithic to the present day. With the realization of the Industrial Revolution, the textile and Clothing sector began to grow and develop very rapidly. With the Insuatrial Revolution, Fashion entered into our lives. As a result of the triggering of the desire for uniqueness and innovation, a consumption style based on the understanding of fast consumption was adopted by societies. Companies that carry out production in line With consumer demands have resorted to low-cost fast production methods in order to respond quickly to the needs and have started to produce more than needed. Companies that adopt the understanding of fast Fashion cause problems such as labor exploitation, excessive waste production, and environmental pollution. Many sustainble production and consumption methods have been developed against these problems. Within the scope of thesis, zero-waste seamless woven garments were developed as a result of bringing together zero-waste pattern design, seamless garment production and weaving methodology under a single innovative trial.
