İnternetin geleceği metaverse teknolojisine Türkiye perspektifinden bakış

Abstract

İçinde bulunduğumuz teknoloji çağında var olan gelişmeler hayatın her anını etkilemeye devam etmekte ve internet tabanlı sistemler dünya genelinde her geçen gün yaygınlaşmaktadır. İletişim alanının son zamanlardaki en popüler konusu şüphesiz ki Metaverse olmuştur. Gerek devletler gerek büyük şirketler gerekse de bireyler tüm yenilikleri takip etmeye ve bu yenliklerden azami fayda sağlamaya çalışmaktadır. Ancak Metaverse’ün tam olarak ne olduğu, hangi teknolojik gelişmelerin ardından gündeme geldiği, ortaya çıkan yeniliklerin gündelik hayatı nasıl etkileyeceğine dair soru işaretleri mevcuttur. Bu konudaki kafa karışıklığı neticesinde birçok manipülatif haber yayılmakta, hatta dolandırıcılık olayları yaşanmaktadır. Bir yandan büyük şirketlerin yatırımları gündeme gelirken diğer yandan da devletler daha çok güvenlik kaygısıyla konuya yaklaşmaktadır. Konuya birey boyutunda bakıldığında kısa sürede yüksek getiriye ulaşma amacıyla yapılan yatırımlar gündeme gelmektedir. Son yıllarda sanal ortamda faaliyet gösteren büyük şirketlerin Metaverse teknolojisine ilgi gösterecek olması, farklı girişimcilik sistemlerinin doğmasına da sebebiyet verecektir. Bu durum hem fırsatları hem de tehditleri beraberinde getirecektir. Zira nitelikli fikri tapu olarak ifade edilen NFT’ler ve blok zinciri sistemlerinin bu kapsamda yaygınlaşacağı ve ciddi bir teknolojik dönüşüm meydana geleceğini ifade etmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada ise Metaverse’ün nasıl ortaya çıktığı üzerinde durulmakta, kısa tarihine yer verilmektedir. Günümüz şartları ve teknolojik gelişmeler karşısında edinilen tecrübeler çerçevesinde Metaverse’ün beraberinde getireceği avantajlar ve dezavantajlar irdelenmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra Türkiye özelinde ortaya çıkan ve arsa satın alımı noktasında ilgiyle karşılanan bu ekosistemin gelecekte karşı karşıya kalabileceği sorunlarla ilgili tespit ve önerilerde bulunulmaktadır. Gelecek yıllarda kuvvetle muhtemel çok daha fazla konuşulacak olan Metaverse teknolojisinin topluma yansımaları analiz edilerek kripto paralara bağlı olan bu sanal gerçeklik evrenlerinin iktisadi boyutuna da değinilmektedir.

In the age of technology we live in, developments continue to affect every moment of our lives, and internet-based systems are becoming more and more widespread throughout the world. The most popular topic in the field of communications has undoubtedly been the Metaverse. States, large companies and individuals try to follow all innovations and try to get maximum benefit from these innovations. However, there are questions regarding what exactly Metaverse is, after which technological developments it came up, and how the emerging innovations will affect daily life. As a result of the confusion on this issue, many manipulative news are spread and even fraudulent events are experienced. While investments of large companies become the topic of conversation, governments approach the issue in relation to security concerns. When we look at the subject in terms of individuals, it can be seen that investments are made in order to achieve high returns in a short time. The fact that large companies that are operating in the virtual environment in recent years will show interest in Metaverse technology is going to lead to the emergence of different entrepreneurship systems. This will bring both opportunities and threats. That is because it is possible to state that NFTs and blockchain systems will become widespread and a serious technological transformation will occur. This study is focused on the emergence of Metaverse and its short history. The advantages and disadvantages of Metaverse are examined within the framework of the experience gained in the face of today’s conditions and technological developments. In addition, findings and suggestions are stated about the problems that this ecosystem, which in Turkey is met with interest regarding land purchase, may face in the future. Also, the reflections of Metaverse technology, which will probably be talked about more in the coming years, are analyzed and the economic dimension of these virtual reality universes which are connected to cryptocurrencies, is mentioned.
