Abstract
YETKECİ YÖNETİM TARZININ ÖĞRETMEN PERFORMANSINA ETKİSİ Eğitim, bir ülkenin kalkınması için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu sebeple, okullarda daha kaliteli eğitim verilmesi zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bu eğitimin verilebilmesi için yönetici ve öğretmenlere büyük görevler düşmektedir. Yöneticilerin davranışları, olaylar karşısında sergiledikleri tutum ve davranışlar, oluşturdukları çalışma ortamı gibi pek çok unsur öğretmenlerin performanslarına ve çalışmalarına etki etmektedir. Bu araştırma ile hangi yönetim tarzının hangi sonuçlara sebep olduğunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Betimsel nitelikli bu araştırma, 2007-2008 öğretim yılında İstanbul ilindeki meslek liselerinde çalışmakta olan öğretmenler ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada gerek duyulan verilerin sağlanması için araştırmacı tarafından iki bölümden oluşan bir anket geliştirilmiştir. Anket, Geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarından sonra son halini almıştır. Anketlerden hatalı ve eksik doldurulanlar çıkarılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin çözümlenmesinde, SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) bilgisayar programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, yönetici davranışlarının öğretmenler üzerindeki etkileri belirlenmiş, yetkeci yönetim tarzının öğretmenlerin kişisel özelliklerine göre farklı sonuçlara yol açtığı gözlenmiştir. netim Tarzı, Meslek Lisesi, Yönetici, Performans
THE EFFECT OF AUTHORITARIAN MANAGEMENT STYLE ON PERFORMANCE OF TEACHERS Education, has a great importance for development of a country. For this reason, it is imperial to educate students in a more qualified manner at schools. Directors and teachers have a great responsibility toward such an education. Management styles at schools affect the educational atmosphere and the performance of the teachers. This research intends to study the outcomes of types of management styles. This study was conducted in vocational high schools in İstanbul during 2007-2008 education year. A survey consisting of two different parts was administered on the teachers working in those schools. After verification and validation stages, the data were analyzed. In the analysis of the data, SPSS (Statistical Package for The Social Sciences) software was used. This research determined the effects of authoritarian management style on performance of teachers.
