Fahreddin Erenden’in tasvvufi görüşleri

Abstract

Tezimiz tekkelerin kapatıldığı dönemde İstanbul’da faaliyet icrâ eden en önemli âsitânelerden Cerrâhî Âsitânesi’nin postnişîni İbrâhim Fahreddîn Şevki Efendi [Erenden]'nin hayatı, eserleri ve tasavvufî görüşlerini muhtevîdir. Çalışmamızın birinci bölümü Erenden'in hayat hikâyesi ve tasavvufi mevzularda bazı görüşlerinden meydana gelmektedir. İkinci bölüm ise, Erenden'in eserlerine tahsis edilmiştir. Envâr-ı Hazret-i Pîr Nûreddîn ve Tabakāt-ı Cerrâhiyye başta olmak üzere, diğer matbû iki eseri Sualnâme ve Ta´rifât ile birlikte Erenden’in külliyâtı diyebileceğimiz bütün eserlerinin günümüz harflerine çevrilmiş tam metinlerini muhtevîdir. Çalışmamızın önemi Cerrâhiyye Tarîkatı ile ilgili sayısı az ve ehemmiyetli bu eserleri içeriyor olmasından kaynaklanmaktadır. Cerrâhî meşâyıhı arasında elimizde te’lîfâtı bulunan yegâne postnişîn olarak Fahreddîn Efendi’nin eserlerinin ehemmiyeti âşikârdır. Onun tasavvuf anlayışının ortaya çıkarılmasına matuf olarak, ikinci bölüm çalışmamızın ağırlık noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Envâr ve Tabakāt olarak ayrı isimlerle isimlendirdiğimiz aslında bu tek eser, Halvetîliğin İstanbul’da hâlen yaşayan birkaç kolundan biri olan Cerrâhîlik hakkında yapılacak tüm çalışmalar için birincil kaynak olma özelliğini hâizdir. Eser, başta Pîr Nûreddîn Cerrâhî olmak üzere Fahrettin Erenden’e gelinceye kadar bütün Cerrâhî postnişînlerinin detaylı hayat hikâyelerini içermektedir. Tekkelerin kapatılmasından sonra Fahreddîn Efendi, İstanbul tarzı tekke ve tarîkat kültürünün sonraki nesillere aktarılması husûsunda târihî bir misyon îfâ etmiştir. Fahreddîn Efendi’nin bu bu gayreti sayesindedir ki, tekke mûsikîsinin ve folklörünün seçkin örnekleri günümüze kadar hayâtiyetini sürdürmüştür.

This thesis about the life, mystical teachings and works of İbrahim Fahreddin Şevkî Efendi (Erenden), the Sheik of the main Cerrâhî Tekke in Istanbul. The Tekke was one of the most important and influential dervish lodges in Istanbul on the eve of their closure by the Republican government. The Thesis is composed of two chapters, the first one about the life and teachings of Erenden, while the second one is devoted to his works, namely Envâr-ı Hazret-i Pir Nureddin, Tabakat-ı Cerrâhiye, Sualnâme and Tarifât. Together with the last two published works, the second chapter contains a complete transcription of the above works. Due to the fact that these works also provide us the basis for establishing the basis of his teachings, the focus of the Thesis will be on the second chapter. The aim of our thesis to contribute to the Ottoman mystical and religious studies by presenting a complete transcription of these rare but important works about the Cerrâhî religious order for future studies. Particularly the Envâr and Tabakat, in fact refering to the same work, is a detailed survey of the lives of the Cerrâhî sheiks by Erenden, starting with Pîr Nureddin Cerrâhî and till his own time. His works among the most important primary sources for the students of the Cerrâhi religious order which is one few branches of the Halvetis that still survive. This will also help us to appreciate the importance of the works of Fahreddin Efendi who is the sole Cerrâhi sheik that produced books. Another contribution of Fahreddin Efendi is his effort to spread his religious teachings even after the closure of the tekkes, which helped the survival of Ottoman Sufi tradition for the future generations.
