Bir taş kömürü işletmesinde çalışanların tükenmişlik algıları: örgütsel faktörler açısından bir değerlendirme

Abstract

BİR TAŞ KÖMÜRÜ İŞLETMESİNDE ÇALIŞANLARIN TÜKENMİŞLİK ALGILARI: ÖRGÜTSEL FAKTÖRLER AÇISINDAN BİR DEĞERLENDİRME Bu çalışma ile insan yaşamının önemli bir kısmını oluşturan iş hayatında, çalışanların yaşadığı yoğun stres ve diğer güçlüklerle beraber kendini gösteren tükenmişlik sendromu kavramının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yapılan alan araştırması ile enerji sektörünün önemli kaynakları arasında yerini alan kömür maden sektöründe çalışanların tükenmişlik düzeyleri örgütsel faktörler açısından ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda Türkiye Taşkömürü İşletmesi yeraltı ve yer üstü çalışanlarıyla derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerde özellikle yeraltında çalışan işçilerin iş yükünün fazla ve kurumda ödül sisteminin başarısız olduğundan bahsedilmiştir. Adaletsiz bir ücretlendirme sisteminin olduğu ve olumlu bir iş ortamının olmadığı çalışanlar tarafından üzerinde durulan diğer önemli noktalar arasında yerini almıştır. Bununla beraber çalışma koşullarının zor ve yıpratıcı olduğundan bahsedilmiş, var olan tüm olumsuzlukların çalışanda yarattığı fiziksel ve psikolojik etkiler ele alınarak incelenmeye çalışılmıştır.

BURNOUT PERCEPTIONS OF WORKERS IN A HARD COAL PLANT: AN EVALUATION IN TERMS OF ORGANIZATIONAL FACTORS With this study, it is aimed to examine the concept of burnout syndrome, which manifests itself with the intense stress and other difficulties experienced by workers in the business life which constitutes a significant part of human life. With the field study, it has been attempted to discuss the burnout levels of workers in the coal mining sector, which is one of the important resources of the energy sector in terms of organizational factors. In this direction, in-depth discussions have been conducted with the underground and overground workers of Turkish Hard Coal Enterprise. It has been mentioned during these discussions that the workload of especially workers who are working under ground is excessive and the reward system in the institution is unsuccessful. Workers have emphasized as other important points that there is an unfair remuneration system and there is not a positive work environment. However, it has been mentioned that the working conditions are difficult and painful and it has been attempted to examine and to discuss the physical and psychological effects of all existing negativities on the workers.
