Abstract

1844 TARİHLİ TEMETTÜAT DEFTERLERİ ÇERÇEVESİNDE SİVAS EYALETİNE BAĞLI ARTUKÂBÂD (ARTOVA-SULUSARAY-YEŞİLYURT) KAZASININ SOSYO EKONOMİK YAPISI Bu çalışmada 1844 yılı Osmanlı Devleti’nin Sivas Eyaleti Merkez Sancağı'na bağlı Artukâbâd Kazası’nın sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı, Osmanlı Arşivi 1844 Tarihli Temettüat Defterleri ışığında çeşitli yönleri ile ele alınmıştır. İncelenen bölgenin ilgili dönemdeki nüfus, gelir, vergi, üretim yapısı ve nitelikleri, gelirin kaynakları ve tarımsal verimlilik gibi ekonomik ve sosyal hayatın temel alanlarıyla ilgili ayrıntılı sayısal bilgiler değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmaya konu olan Kazanın sadece 1844 Tarihli Temettüat Defteri olduğundan karşılaştırmalı bir çalışma niteliğinde değildir

Social and Economic Structure of Artukabad (Artova-Sulusaray-Yesilyurt) Town of Sivas State Under the Light of Temettuat - 1844 In this study social and economic structure of Artukabad Town of Center Province of Sivas State of Ottoman Stateis examined in various aspects under the light of Temettuat Tahrir of Ottoman Achives. Delailed and quantîtative information is tried to be provided conceming the basic areas of economic and social life such as population, structure of production, attributes of enterprises, sources of income. agrıcultural productivity and taxes of the considered region. The study is a comprative, economic and social structure evaluation.
