Publication: Göçer kültülerde mobilyalar ve günümüze uyarlanması
Abstract
Göçebe kültürlerde mobilya anlayısı ve günümüze uyarlanmalarınmasının incelenmesi için , öncelikle göçebe toplumların anlasılmasına çalısılmalıdır. Bu amaçla göçebe kültürler iki asamada ele alınmıstır. Tarihte bilinen göçebe toplumlar farklı cografyalardan seçilerek aralarındaki benzerlikler görülmüs, ardından günümüzde göçebe yasantısı sürdüren bazı örnek topluluklar incelenerek temel özellikler saptanmıstır. Bu veriler ısıgında geleneksel göçebe kültürlerin yasama biçimleri ve buna baglı olarak da sahip oldukları esyalar degerlendirilmistir. Günümüz endüstriyel toplumlarında çesitli sebepler ile inceledigimiz “göçebe” tanımı kapsamı içerisinde yer alabilecek olan ve “kentli göçebe” olarak tanımlanan sosyal kesitler tanımlanmıs, bu toplum kesitinin geleneksel göçebelerin fiziksel ihtiyaçlarını karsılama biçimlerine paralel olan güncel çözümleri incelenmistir.
The main purpose in this thesis is to seek the similarities between the pastoral nomadic culture and urban nomadic people and as a result, understanding the required equipments of nomadic lifestyle. In order to define similarities, in the first stage nomadic societies from different parts of the world have been studied through some well known pastoral nomadic tribes. The pastoral nomadic tribes which still exists today have been studied in order to see the common parameters in their existing furniture. Thus the design for urban nomads could be well understood. Nomadic life has been mostly accepted as a life style of freedom comparing with the material and established cultures.This idea was spread more during 1960’s, in the sociological climate of this period. In the second stage different contemporary nomads has been explained regarding the traditional nomad definitions and some samples of the contemporary design products, which have been developed to fulfill their needs, has been studied.
