Publication: Musculus piriformis' in lifleri arasında çıkan nervus fibularis communis olgusu
Abstract
Öğrenci pratiklerinde disseke edilen 50 yaşlarındaki bir erkek kadavrada bilateral olarak musculus piriformis'in lifleri arasından çıkan nervus fibularis communis varyasyonunu rastladık. Aynı kadavrada nervus tibialis, foramen infrapiriforme'den çıkmaktaydı. Bu iki sinir birleşmeden uyluğun arka bölgesinde yollarına devam etmekteydi. Literatürde bu tip varyasyonun görülme sıklığı % 7.1-32.9 olarak verilmekte ve musculus piriformis ile nervus ischi-adicus arasındaki komşuluk varyasyonları içinde en sık görülen şekil olduğu belirtilmektedir. Bu varyasyonun piriformis sendromu'na neden olabileceği vurgulanmakta ve intramuskular enjeksiyonlar ile oluşan nervus fibularis communis yaralanma insidensini arttırdığı bildirilmektedir.
Common peroneal nerve emerging from pyriformis muscle; an anatomical variational case. A common peroneal nerve variation which emerges between the fibers of pyriformis muscle was found bilaterally during regular dissection courses in a 50 years old male cadaver. In the same cadaver, tibial nerve was emerging through infrapyriform foramen and both nerves were descending downward of posterior aspect of thigh region without any interconnections. In literature, the incidence of this variation is given as %7.1-32.9 and described as the most common type of the variations between pyriformis muscle and sciatic nerve. It is emphasized that this variation may cause the pyriformis syndrome and this variation may increase the incidence of the common peroneal nerve injury due to intramuscular injections.
