GÜNÜMÜZDE SİYASAL İLETİŞİM VE MEDYANIN BULUŞMA NOKTASI: POLITAINMENT (EĞLENCELİ SİYASET/ SİYASAL EĞLENCE) Sanayi Devrimi, tüketim kültürü, kapitalizm ve küreselleşme ile birlikte gelinen noktada günümüz toplumsal koşulları hazcılık ve tüketim odaklıdır. Bu çalışma toplumsal yapıya dair bu saptamanın günümüz medya ve siyaset alanları için de geçerli olduğunu savunur. Tüketim ve hazcılık odaklı günümüz toplumsal koşullarının medyası da eğlence odaklıdır ve günümüzde siyaset artık medyada inşa edilip, kurgulanıp, sunulmaktadır. Bu da pek tabii ki medyanın kurallarına göre yapılmaktadır. Bu şartlar altında günümüzde siyasal iletişim ve medyanın ortak işleyiş alanı eğlence kültürü üzerinden şekillenmektedir. Bu çalışma günümüz toplumsal koşullarında siyaset ve eğlence kültürünün sembiyotik bir ilişki içinde olduğunu savunmuştur. Amacımız öncelikli olarak Alman bilim adamı Andreas Dörner' e ait olan politainment (eğlenceli siyaset/ siyasal eğlence) kavramını Türk literatürüne sokmak; Türk siyaset ve medya yapısını bu olgu çerçevesinde tartışmaya açabilmektir. Çalışmamızda ABD., İngiltere, Almanya, İtalya ve Hollanda' dan verdiğimiz lider örnekleriyle ülkemizdeki uygulamaların incelenmesine katkıda bulunmaya çalıştık. Özetle bu tez çalışması günümüzde ideolojik temele dayalı siyasetin çözülmeye başladığını, siyasetin politainment üzerine kurulu olduğunu dünyadaki uygulama örnekleri ile göstermekte ve küreselleşme sürecinin dayattığı liberalizasyon politikalarının hız kazanmasıyla Türk siyasetinin de politainment etkisinde olduğunu savunmakta ve tartışmaya açmaktadır. This study defends that this establish which made for social structure is also valid for the mass media and the politics fields of current time. The mass media of current time' s social structure -which focused on consumption and hedonism- is also focused on entertainment and in current time the construction, the installation and the presentation of politics is doing by the mass media. And also this realizes by the mass media' s regulations. In these situations and current time, political communicaton' s and the mass media' s common area has taken a shape on entertainment culture. This study defends that the politics and the entertainment culture are in a symbiotic relationship in current time. At first, our goal is to add the term of politainment, which belongs to German researcher Andreas Dörner, into Turkish communication sciences literature and to start an argument about Turkish politics and the mass media structures by the politainment s point of view. In our study, we tried to give some help for the examining of Turkey pratics in future, in detail by going into leader examples from USA., UK, Germany, Italy and Holland carefully. In summary, this thesis study shows by the pratic examples from around the world, that the politics which construct on ideological basic had started to lose its strength in current time and also it constructs on politainment now; defends and tries to start an argument that also the Turkish Politics is under the impression of politainment by the gaining speed of the liberalization politics in globalization process.
