Publication: Müzik öğretmenliği piyano eğitimi dersi için bir model denemesi
Abstract
MÜZİK ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ PİYANO EĞİTİMİ DERSİ İÇİN BİR MODEL DENEMESİ Bu araştırma, müzik öğretmeni yetiştiren kurumlarda uygulanmakta olan piyano dersi için, varolan klasik piyano öğretiminin eleştirisi, ülkemiz koşullarına uygun bir piyano öğretim modelinin, programlandırılmış öğretime dayalı olarak geliştirilmesi ve etkililiğinin denenmesi amacı doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, araştırmada Deneysel Yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu yöntemin, Kontrol Gruplu Ön Test-Son Test Deney Deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, iki grup üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gruplar random yolu ile deney ve kontrol grubu olarak atanmıştır. Her iki grubun belirlenmesinde grupların özelliklerinin denk olmasına özen gösterilmiştir. Deney öncesinde her iki gruba araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen, Başarı testi, Müzikal Algılama testi, Piyano dersi için hazırlanan Gözlem Formu ve sosyal bilgiler dersi tutum ölçeğinden piyano dersine uygulanan Piyano Dersi Tutum Ölçeği uygulanarak her iki grubun bağımsız değişkenler yönünden başlangıç düzeyleri belirlenmiştir. Deney grubuna güz dönemi eğitim öğretim süresi boyunca, programlandırılmış öğretime dayalı piyano dersi öğretimi verilmiştir. Kontrol grubundaki öğrenciler ise klasik piyano öğretimine dayalı piyano derslerine devam etmişlerdir. Deney süreci sonunda, başlangıçta uygulanan testler öğrencilere tekrar uygulanarak bağımsız değişkenler yönünden öğrencilerin son düzeyleri belirlenmiş ve deneysel çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Deney öncesi yapılan ön test ve deney sonrası yapılan son testlerden elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, başarı testi, müzikal algılama testi, piyano dersi tutum ölçeği ve gözlem formu değişkenleri yönünden, programlandırılmış öğretime dayalı olarak geliştirilen Piyano dersi öğretim modelinin, klasik öğretime dayalı piyano eğitimi gören öğrencilere göre daha etkili bir program olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucu olarak, 1.sınıf güz dönemi piyano dersi için geliştirilen öğretim modelinin ve yönteminin, klasik piyano öğretimine dayalı olarak verilen piyano dersinden daha etkili ve geliştirici olduğu deneysel olarak kanıtlanmıştır.
A METHOD SUGGESTION FOR THE MUSİC TEACHERS PIANO EDUCATION LESSON This research has the following objectives: To analyze the existing classical piano learning methods that are currently practiced by the music teacher institutions, To suggest a program based method that is suitable to our country's conditions and to test the effectiveness of this method. To better serve this purpose, 'Experimental Method' has been used for this research. The pattern used for this method is First Test - Last Test Experiment Pattern with Control Group. Research has been done in two groups. Groups have been randomly appointed as Experiment and Control groups. To choose these groups, special attention has been paid to make sure that both groups have similar characteristics. Before the experiment, the following tests that are prepared by the researcher have been applied to both groups to assess their levels based on independent variables: Success test, Musical Perception test, Observation form for piano lessons and Piano Lesson Attitude Scale that is adapted from the social studies lesson's attitude scale. Throughout the fall semester, Experiment group has studied piano lessons based on programmed learning while students in Control group have continued their piano lessons based on classical learning methods. After the experiment period the same tests have been reapplied to students to assess their new levels based on independent variables and the experiment has been concluded. Based on Success, Musical Perception tests, Piano Lesson Attitude Scale and Observation form results applied before and after, it has been observed that piano lessons based on programmed learning are more effective compared to piano lessons based on classical learning methods. It has been concluded that the piano lesson learning method and methodology for 1st. Class students is more effective and more developing for students as compared to classical piano learning methods.
