Publication: İlköğretim 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersi “ Avrupa’da yenilikler” ünitesinin öğretiminde bilgisayar destekli öğretim uygulamalarının öğrencilerin başarıları ve tutumları üzerindeki etkisi
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde bilgisayar destekli öğretim uygulamalarının öğrencilerin başarıları ve tutumları üzerindeki etkisi araştırıldı. Araştırmada kullanılan bilgisayar destekli öğretim uygulaması, 7.sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi Avrupa'da Yenilikler ünitesinin konularını içermektedir. Bu uygulamanın, konuların öğrenimindeki etkisi sınanmıştır. Bu bağlamda hazırlanan ölçeklerle, öğrencilerin bilgisayar destekli Sosyal Bilgiler dersindeki başarısı ve derse karşı tutumları ve bunlara ek olarak ailenin gelir düzeyi, ailenin eğitim durumu, öğrencinin cinsiyeti, bilgisayar bilgisi, çalışma odasına sahip olup olmama durumu incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın problem ve alt problemlerinin yanıtlanması için bir anket, ön başarı testi, son başarı testi ve Sosyal Bilgiler dersine karşı oluşan tutumları ölçen tutum ölçeği hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca hazırlanmış olan Flash uygulaması bulunmaktadır. Bu ölçekler ve Avrupa'da Yenilikler ünitesinin konularını içeren Flash uygulaması, İstanbul ilinin Beyoğlu ilçesinde bulunan Doktor Tevfik Sağlam İlköğretim Okulu'ndaki 7. sınıf öğrencilerine 2003-2004 eğitim-öğretim sürecinin ilk yarıyılında, deney ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 70 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS 11.0 istatistik paket ortamında frekans, yüzde, t- testi ve ANOVA teknikleri kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucundan elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle aşağıdaki sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır: 1.Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde bilgisayar destekli öğretim uygulamalarının öğrencilerin ders başarıları üzerinde olumlu etkisi vardır. 2.Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde bilgisayar destekli öğretim uygulamalarının öğrencilerin derse karşı oluşan tutumları üzerinde olumlu etkisi vardır. Araştırmanın sonuç bölümünde, literatürün taranması ve ölçeklerden elde edilen bulgular sonucunda oluşturulan problemlere ilişkin öneriler sunulmuştur.
In this research, the influence of the computer-based education practice in the 7th class Social Studies course over the success and the behaviours of the student has been evaluated. The computer-based education practice which is used in the research, includes issues about The Innovation in Europe During The 15th and 19th Centuries due to the 7th class Social Studies course level. By the scale prepared due to this conjuction, the success and the behaviours of the students in the computer-based Social Studies course and in addition to this, the familie's social and economic level together with the students sex, his/ her knowledge of computer and possession of a personal study room has been tried to be evaluated. A behavior scale and a survey, a pre-success test, a post-success test in order to answer the problem and sub-problems has been prepared to measure the success and the behaviours against the Social Studies course. There is a Flash application which is prepared too. These scales and Flash application that includes the issues about The Innovation in Europe During The 15th and 19th Centuries has been applicated on a total number of 70 students as an experiment and control group in the first term period of 2003-2004 education year to the 7th class student attending to Dr. Tevfik Sağlam Primary School located in Beyoğlu İstanbul. The data acquired in the research analysed by using frequence, percentage, t-test and ANOVA techniques in SPSS 11.0 statistic packet programme media. The finding from the conclusion of the research are as follows: 1.The computer-based practices in Social Studies course has a possitive effect on the success of the students. 2.The computer-based practices in Social Studies course has a possitive effect on the behaviours of the students to the Social Studies course. In the conclusive part of the research, some suggestions has been given about the problems occured by the end of the findings acquired from the scale and the scanning of the literature.
