Fâik Reşâd'ın Fenn-i İnşâ'sında Osmanlı'da yazışma usûl ve adabı

Abstract

Bu tezde son dönem Osmanlı müelliflerinden Fâik Reşâd tarafından kaleme alınan “Fenn-i İnşâ” adlı eser incelenmiştir. 1892/ 93’te (1310) Maarif Nezareti ruhsatıyla basılan bu kitap, idadi mekteplerinde dördüncü sene verilmesi planlanan “Fenn-i İnşâ ve Kitâbet” adlı ders için hazırlanmıştır. Eserde metin inşasında amaç, muhteva ve üslup konularında dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar hem teorik hem de pratik açıdan ortaya koyulmuştur. Bu nedenle eser Türkçe, Osmanlı yazılı kültürü ve zihin dünyası gibi farklı alanlara dair önemli bir kaynak özelliği göstermektedir. Bu eserin literatüre kazandırılmasıyla birlikte idadi mekteplerinde ders kitabı olarak okutulmuş bir kitaptan yola çıkarak son devir Osmanlı yazılı kültürünün genel özellikleri ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu yapılırken öncelikle metnin tamamı transkribe edilmiş, ardından müellifin hayatı ve eserin Osmanlı inşa literatüründeki yeri müstakil bölümler altında incelenmiştir.

In this thesis, the work titled “Fenn-i İnşâ” written by Fâik Reşâd, one of the last period Ottoman authors, is analyzed. This book, which was published in 1892/ 93 (1310) with the license of the Ministry of Education, was prepared for the course titled “Fenn-i İnşâ ve Kitâbet”, which was planned to be given in the fourth year in the idadi schools. In the book, the issues to be considered in text construction in terms of purpose, content and style are put forward both theoretically and practically. For this reason, the work is an important source for different fields such as Turkish, Ottoman written culture and the world of the mind. With the introduction of this work to the literature, an attempt has been made to reveal the general characteristics of the Ottoman written culture of the last period based on a book that was taught as a textbook in idadi schools. In doing so, firstly, the entire text was transcribed, and then the life of the author and the place of the work in the Ottoman construction literature were analyzed under separate sections.
