Abstract
Bir bölümünü tez konusu olarak aldığımız bu eser, İstanbul Üniversitesi Merkez Kütüphanesi 6131 demirbaş numarasıyla kayıtlıdır. Üç cilt halinde ve tamamı 1778 varaktır. Ayrıca eserde minyatürlere de yer verilmiş, her sayfası 25 satır olarak düzenlenmiştir. Üzerinde çalışılan 1. cildin boyutu 39, eni 24,5, kalınlığı 7,5 cm.dir. Eser hicrî 1187, miladî 1773 yılında tamamlanmıştır. Eser kelime kelime tercüme özelliği taşımamaktadır. Bu tez, yazmanın 291a-320b varaklarını kapsamaktadır. 01b-40b varakları Sadettin ŞAHİN tarafından, 41a-80b varakları Sema DEMİREL ŞAHİN tarafından, 80a-119b varakları Nilgün YILDIZ tarafından, 120a-159b varakları Erhan AKTAŞ tarafından, 160a-200b varakları İshak ALGAN tarafından ve 200a-230b varakları da Özgü KARAMANLIOĞLU tarafından olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu tezi hazırlamaktaki amaç, Şehnâme’nin bu mensur tercümesini tanıtmaktır. Tez üç bölümden oluşmaktadır: Giriş, metin ve sözlük. Giriş kısmında Firdevsî, Şehnâme, Şehnâme çevirileri ve üzerine çalışılan yazmayla ilgili bilgiler verilmektedir. Metin kısmında sayfa ve satır numaraları belirtilmiş, günümüz noktalama işaretlerine göre düzenlenmiş ve gerekli kısımlarda paragraflar yapılmıştır. Böylece eserden faydalanılması daha kolay hale getirilmek istenmiştir. Sözlük bölümünde ise eserin söz varlığını gösteren bir dizin hazırlanmış, eserdeki kelime ve birleşik şekillerin metindeki anlamları verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu sözlük hem alfabetik hem de kök esasına dayalı bir sözlüktür. Madde başı olarak kabul edilen kelimelerin altına o kelimeyle ilgili ara madde, deyim ve birleşikler sıralanmış, madde başı veya ara maddelerin ikinci, üçüncü unsur olarak geçtiği maddelere (→) işareti ile göndermeler yapılmıştır.
The book that we have worked on a part of is registered under fixture number 6131 at the Central Library of Istanbul University. It’s composed of 3 volumes with total pages of 1778. Miniatures also have been given place in the book with each page designed to hold 25 lines. The length of the first volume on which work is being carried is 39 cm in length, 24,5 cm in width and 7,5 cm in thickness. The book was completed in 1187 (date based on Hegira) or 1773 (date based on birth of Christ/ Christian era). The book doesn’t carry the characteristic of a translation word by word. This thesis covers pages 291a-320b of the manuscript. The pages 01b-40b, pages 41a-80b, pages 80a-119b, pages 120a-159b, pages 160a-200b and pages 200a-230b had been prepared by Sadettin ŞAHİN, Sema DEMİREL ŞAHİN, Nilgün YILDIZ, Erhan AKTAŞ, İshak ALGAN and Özgü KARAMANLIOĞLU respectively. The reason to prepare this thesis is to introduce the translation of Şehnâme in prose. The thesis is composed of three sections which are the introduction, the text and the dictionary. The information about Firdevsî, Şehnâme, Şehnâme translations and manuscript on which work is carried is given at the introduction section of thesis. The text shows the pages and line numbers. It has also been punctuated according to today’s punctuation rules. Paragraphs have been created at the necessary parts. By doing that, it has been aimed to exploit of the work more easily. In dictionary, an index is prepared which shows the vocabulary of the book; the meanings of the words and compound forms in the book are tried to be explained. The dictionary is based on both alphabetic and root principles. Under main entry an intermediary entry, expressions as well as collocations related to main word are added. The items identified as second, third factors of the main or intermediary items have been referred with marking (i.e.→).
