Publication: İstanbul ilindeki özel mesleki ve teknik anadolu liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyo demografik özelliklerinin gelecek beklentilerine etkisi
Abstract
Giriş: Gelecek tasarımlarının oluştuğu dönem olan ergenlik döneminde ergenlerin gelecek beklentilerini nelerin etkilediğini belirlemek önemlidir. Amaç: : Bu çalışma, sağlık alanında eğitim verilen özel mesleki ve teknik liselerinde öğrenim gören 15-18 yaş grubu ergenlerin sosyo demografik özelliklerinin gelecek beklentilerini hangi yönde ve nasıl etkilediğini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı, kesitsel desende yapılan çalışma İstanbul’da 30 özel mesleki ve teknik anadolu lisesinde gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın, örneklemini evreni temsil eden 518 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, Sosyodemografik Veri Formu ve Gelecek Beklentisi Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler, tanımlayıcı istatiksel analizler, Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi, Pearson korelasyon analizi, Mann Whitney U testi, Kruskal Wallis-H ve post hoc scheffe testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın yapılabilmesi için Marmara Üniversitesi Etik Kurulu’ndan etik kurul izni, İstanbul İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğünden kurum izni alınmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin %63.1’i kadın, %36.9’u erkektir. Gelecek Beklentisi Ölçeği puan ortalaması orta düzeydedir. GBÖ alt boyut puan ortalaması ve ölçek toplam puan ortalamaları ile yaş arasında negatif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Öğrencilerin eğitim gördükleri sınıflara göre GBÖ alt boyut puan ortalaması ve ölçek toplam puan ortalaması arasından pozitif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Öğrencilerin gelecek beklentilerinin orta düzeyde olduğu, yaş ve öğrenim gördükleri sınıf ile gelecek beklentileri arasında ilişki olduğu saptandı.
Introduction: It is important to determine how adolescents influence future expectations in adolescence, the period of future designs.Aim:This study was carried out in order to determine the way in which the socio demographic characteristics of the adolescents aged 15-18 years studied in the private vocational and technical high schools which were educated in the health field, influenced their future expectations.Method: The study, which is a descriptive and relationship seeker, cross-sectional design was carried out in Istanbul in 30 special vocational and technical Anatolian schools. The sample of the research was composed of 518 students representing the universe. Data were collected by SDF and FES. Ethics committee of Marmara University Ethics Board has been granted permission for the work to be done and institutional permission has been obtained from Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.Results: The average score of the FES is moderate. There was a statistically significant negative correlation between the FES subscale score average and scale total score average and age. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between the FES subscale score average and the scale total score average according to the students who were educated by the students. It was determined that the future expectations of the students were moderate, the age and the class that they had studied and the future expectations.
