Türk tiyatro eserlerinde “Milli mücadele”

Abstract

Millî Mücadele, Türk milletinin düşmanları tarafından yok edilmek istenmesi karşısında; kadın- erkek, yaşlı-genç topluca mücadele ettiği büyük bir savaştır. Sonunda hem askerî, hem siyasî hem de ekonomik zaferle taçlandırılan yeni Türk Cumhuriyeti; sıkıntılı ve kanlı kuruluş yıllarını yeni nesillere ancak edebiyat yoluyla anlatabilir ve kıymet bilirlik yaratabilirdi. İşte o yılları yakından bilen ve takip eden Türk yazarları; edebiyatın bütün türlerinde Millî Mücadele yıllarını büyük bir titizlikle ele almış, çarpıcı sahnelerle o yılları canlı tutmuşlardır. Edebiyatın dramatik türü de bu konuya duyarsız kalmamıştır. Yüzlerce piyes yazılmış; mücadele yılları, tarihî perspektif ışığında, arka planda kalmış bilinmeyen yönleriyle de büyüklere, çocuklara anlatılma yoluna gidilmiştir. İşte tezimizin amacı Millî Mücadele'yi ele alan piyesleri, tespit etmek, incelemek ve yazarlarımızın dramatik yolla konuya yaklaşım şeklini, biçimini ortaya koymaktır. Tezimin giriş bölümünde, Millî Mücadele'nin tarihi safhalarına genel bir bakış yapıldıktan sonra, büyükler için yazılmış olan piyeslerin tek tek özetleri verilmiş sonra da tarihi realiteye paralel tematik bir tasnif içinde piyesler incelenmiştir. Çocuklar için yazılmış piyesler ile senaryolar, ayrı bölümler halinde, genel bir değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmuştur. Sonuç olarak görülmüştür ki; Türk yazarlarının konuya yoğun ilgisi daha ziyade didaktik amaçlı olmuştur. Millî Mücadele, Türk Milletinin yeniden doğuşu olarak kabul edilirken, millî değerler de önemsenmiştir. Yazarlar; direniş günlerinin hafızalara kazınması ve gelecek nesillerin de konuya gereken önemi vermesi şeklinde ortak bir mesaja ulaşmışlardır. Bu arada Cumhuriyet ve inkılaplardan övgüyle söz edilmiş, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk bu mücadelenin kahramanı olarak destanlaştırılmıştır. Tezimin sonuna, anahtar kelimelerden oluşan tematik bir tablo koymayı da uygun gördüm. Tezimin, bu alandaki bir boşluğu dolduracağı ümidini taşıyorum.

The National Fight is a great war where the Turkish nation has fought collectively, including both women and men, old and young people, being confronted with the threat of being destroyed by its enemies. Ultimately, the new Turkish Republic, having been crowned with military, politicial as well as economical victory, could just tell about its distressing and bloody years of formation via literature and thus create the ability of appreciating the respective value. Thus, the Turkish authors being accustomed and following up those years closely, have handled the years of the National Fight in all kinds of literature with great sensitivity. Even the dramatic kind of literature has not remained insensitive to this topic. Hundreds of plays have been written; the years of the fight have been told both to adults as well as to children with its unknown aspects, which have e remained in the background, in the light of the historical perspective. Now, the aim of our thesis is to determine and review the plays focusing on the National Fight and to reveal how and in which manner our authors have approached the topic by dramatic ways. Following a general view to the historical stages of the National Fight in the introductory oart of my thesis, the summaries of each of the plays which have been written for adults have been given and then the plays have been reviewed within thematic classification parallel to the historical reality. The plays and screenplays, which have been written for children, have been made subject to a general assessment in separate parts. As a result it has been seen that the intensive attention of the Turkish writers to the topic has rather been for didactic purposes. While the National Fight is considered as the rebirth of the Turkish Nation, national values have been attributed importance as well. The writers have arrived at the common message suggesting that the days of resistance are deeply memorized and future generations attribute the necessary importance to the subject. Meanwhile, the Republic and reforms have been talked about with praise, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has been made a legend as the hero of this fight. At the end of my thesis, I have considered it also appropriate to insert a table consisting of key words to solve the fictional structure of the plays we have examined. I hope that my thesis shall fill up a gap in this area.
