The statistical analysis of the factors affecting productivity in the Turkish manufacturing industry (comparative analysis of public and private sectors)

Abstract

Çalışmamızın amacı Türk imalat sanayinde prodüktiviteyi etkileyen faktörlerin, kamu sektörü ile özel sektör üzerindeki etkilerini istatistiksel analiz vasıtasıyla mukayesesidir. Prodüktivite bakımından amacımız prodüktivite kavramının ne olduğu, prodüktivite ölçülerinin neler olduğu, prodüktivite ölçülerinin hangi birimlerle hesaplandığı ve bu ölçülerinin teorik bakımdan özelliklerini, uygulama bakımından yerlerini ve önemlerini belirterek fayda ve mahsurlarını ortaya koymaktır. Prodüktivite kavramı gerek kapsam, gerek teorik, gerekse de uygulama anlamında çok geniş bir yelpaze arz ettiğinden dolayı bu çalışma imalat bir ölçü birimiyle ele alınıp, araştırılmış ve kaleme alınmıştır.

The aim of our study is to compare the effects of the factors, that affect productivity in Turkish manufacturing industry, over public sector and private sector through the statistical analysis. Our aim, in point of productivity, by specifying what is the term productivity, what are the measurements of productivity, with which units it is figured out and the specifications in point of theoretical approach, in point of range of application and importance, and put forward its advantages and disadvantages.
