Publication: Bilgi toplumu sürecinde teknik öğretmenlerin yeterlilikleri ve profili
Abstract
Çağımızda bilim ve teknolojideki hızlı gelişmeler toplumun yapısını ve söylemlerini de hızlı olarak değiştirmektedir. Tarım toplumu , sanayi toplumu , bilim toplumu , enformatik toplum ve bilgi toplumu gibi kavramlar her geçen zaman süreci içinde değişerek kullanılmaktadır.(Atalay,1996,s.603) Bilgi toplumuna geçiş sürecinin temel ve en büyük unsuru eğitim , öğretim ve öğretmendir. Yapacağımız araştırmanın en önemli özelliği de bu üç unsur içinde yer alan , öğretmen camiasının bir üyesi olan teknik öğretmenlerin bilgi toplumuna katkılarını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Yeni bir yüzyıla yeni bir toplum anlayışı ile giren toplumumuzun , dünyanın gerisinde kalmaması için eğitime verilen önem günmüzde gittikçe artarken, teknolojik alanda gelişmede ve toplumumuzun bilgi toplumu olmada mesleki ve teknik eğitim alanında görev yapan teknik öğretmenlerin katkılarıda göz ardı edilmelidir. Bunun içinde hazırlayacağımız tezin adının Bilgi Toplumu Sürecinde Teknik Öğretmenlerin Yeterlilikleri ve Profili olarak seçilmesinin nedeni de ; teknik öğretmenlerin genel olarak özelliklerinin ve sorunlarının tespiti yapılarak , bilgi toplumuna geçişteki yaptıkları katkıların ortaya çıkartılması ve bu katkıların artırılmasıdır. Bunların tespiti sonucu, öğretmen yetiştiren kurumlarda gerekli önlemlerin alınarak , ileride ihtiyaç duyacakları bilgi ve beceriler ile donatılarak mezun olmalarına katkıda bulunacağına inamaktayız. Halen görevde olan öğretmenler için hazırlanacak seminer ve hizmet içi kursların yapısının oluşturulmasında da elde edilen verilerden yararlanılabileceğine ve yol gösterici olacağına inanıyoruz. Bu araştırma ile ,ülkemizin ihtiyaç duyduğu mesleki ve teknik elemanları yetiştiren teknik öğretmenlerin profili incelenerek , bilgi toplumu olma çabalarımıza yaptıkları katkılar ve çabaların neresinde oldukları ortaya çıkartılacaktır. Ayrıca bu araştırma sonucunda elde edilecek verilerin, teknik öğretmen yetiştiren kurumlarda eğitim gören öğrencilerin, bu konuda bilinçlendirme de kullanılabilecek nitelikte olacağına inanmaktayız.
In this centruy, rapid devolepments in science and technology, change the structure of the society and speech rapidly conseptions like. Agricultural society, industrial society, science society, information society and knowledge society are used by changing everyday. (Atalay,1996,s.603) The main and greatest parts of the transformation period to the knowledge society are education, teaching and teachers. In this reseacrh we are going to perform, we will examin the participation of the technical teachers as a member of the teachers society in this three component parts. As we enter to a new century with our society having a new social concept, and as the importance of education nowadays is arosing in order not to keep behind of the world, the participation of professional and technical teachers, that work technical education,for technological developments and becoming a knowledge society must not to be overkept. The reason for choosing the name sufficiency and profile of the technical instructors throughout the extention of the knowledge society.to this thesis,is in order to arise the participation of these technical techers by studying their general characters and problems and increase their participations. We belive that we will help them to grauate from their instituations by having enough knowledge and skills and by taking the right precautions in these teachers educating school. And we also belive that our studies will lead to the right way at the seminars and in-sight courses that will be prepared for the teachers that are still working. In this study, we will identify the particiaptions in order to be come a knowledge society and the position of this struggle by studying profiles of these technical teachers that our country needs. Besides this, we belive that the outcomes that we will have after this study, will help to become conscious about this subject and will be qualified enough to be used in theinstututions that educate teachers and for the students in these schools.
