Fatih Devri Ayasofya Vakfiyesine göre Ayasofya Vakfı’nın İstanbul’un yeniden inşa edilmesindeki önemi

Abstract

“Fatih Devri Ayasofya Vakfiyesine Göre Ayasofya Vakfı’nın İstanbul’un Yeniden İnşa Edilmesindeki Önemi” başlığı adı altında yapılan bu çalışmada, İstanbul’un Fatih döneminde nasıl bir yeniden inşa sürecine sokulduğu ve bu sürecin işlemesinde Fatih’in nasıl bir dünya telakkisi ile hareket ettiği, döneme ait Ayasofya Vakfiye el yazması kapsamında incelemeye alınmıştır. Bu incelemeler neticesinde, Osmanlı Vakıf Sistemi’nin, şehir ve zihniyet inşa etme bağlamında son derece etkili bir sistem olduğu net bir şekilde görülmüştür. Ayasofya vakfiyesinde yer alan faaliyetleri kavrayabilmek için, döneme ait çeşitli inceleme eserlerinden yararlanılarak, Fatih’in İstanbulu’nun, iskan ve imar süreçlerinde yaşadığı güçlükler ve bu süreçte nelerin etkili olduğu anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. İstanbul’un fethi ve inşa süreçlerinin ne denli meşakkatli bir süreç olduğu, fakat bu sürecin Osmanlı Vakıf sistemi sayesinde, nasıl bir yetenek ve disiplinle kotarılabildiği, bu çalışmada ortaya koyduğumuz en önemli neticedir. Çalışma ile beraber; Fatih’in İstanbul’a bakışı, onu nasıl bir kozmopolit dünya şehri haline getirdiği ve bunda Ayasofya Vakfı’nın hangi paya sahip olduğu net bir şekilde anlaşılmaktadır.
