Entegre edilmiş bulanık SWARA ve bulanık TOPSIS yöntemleri ile spor okulu seçimi

Abstract

Teknolojinin ilerlemesi ve şehirlerde azalan oyun alanları, evlerine kapanmış yeni bir neslin ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Bu durum karşısında aileler çocuklarını evden çıkarabilmek için alternatif arayışlar içerisine girmişlerdir. 12 Dev Adam, Potanın Perileri ve Filenin Sultanları gibi akılda kalıcı sloganlarıyla basketbol ve voleybolda elde edilen milli takım zaferleri hem çocukları hem de velileri bu sporlara yöneltmiştir. Oluşan bu ilgi sonucunda basketbol ve voleybol eğitimi veren spor kulüplerinin sayısında önemli ölçüde artış olmuştur. Sadece İstanbul'da 200’ün üzerinde spor kulübü faaliyet göstermektedir. Bazı düzenlemeler yapılmış olmasına rağmen, ülkemizde bu kulüplerin kontrol edilmesi ve değerlendirilmesi için hala bir sistem bulunmamaktadır. Bunun sonucu olarak, verilen eğitimin kalitesi kulüpler arasında önemli ölçüde farklılık göstermektedir. Velilerin eğitim kalitesine ek olarak, ödenecek aylık ücret, spor okulunun konumu gibi diğer faktörleri de göz önünde bulundurmaları gerekmektedir. Tüm bu parametreler çocuklar için uygun spor kulübü seçimini zorlaştırmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, velileri bu karar sürecinde desteklemek ve çocukları için doğru spor kulübü seçimlerine yardımcı olmaktır. Seçimde birden fazla faktörün etkili olması ve alternatif sayısının fazla olması nedeniyle Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) stratejileri bu problemin çözümü için uygun gözükmektedir. Uzmanlarla yapılan görüşmeler sonucu kulüp seçimi için önemli olduğu düşünülen dört kriter belirlenmiş olup bu kriterlerin göreceli önem ağırlıkları ÇKKV metotlarından bulanık SWARA (Step Wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis) yöntemiyle hesaplanmıştır. Ardından bir diğer ÇKKV metodu olan Bulanık TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) yöntemi ile de en uygun kulüp seçilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda spor okulu seçimi yaparken bakılacak kriterler önem sırasına göre okulun kalitesi, okulun konumu, okulun aylık ücreti ve okulun bilinirliği olarak belirlenmiştir. Oluşturulan metodolojiye örnek olması ve uygulamanın daha iyi anlaşılması için beş alternatif spor okulu tercihi olan bir vaka incelenmiş ve en uygun olan spor okulu önerisi yapılmıştır. Özellikle alternatif sayısının fazla olduğu durumlarda sezgisel yaklaşım yerine önerilen bilimsel yaklaşımın daha etkili olacağı düşünülmektedir.The advancement of technology and the removal of playgrounds on cities have resulted in the emergence of a new generation confined to their homes. This condition forces families to look for other ways to get their children out of the house. The basketball and volleyball national teams' triumphs, together with their catchy slogans 12 Giant Men, Fairies of the Hoop, and Sultans of the Net, attract both children and parents to these sports. Under these conditions, the number of basketball and volleyball clubs grows significantly. Only in Istanbul are over 200 sports clubs operated. Although certain provisions have been made, our country still lacks a framework for monitoring and evaluating these groups. As a result of this, the educational quality varies considerably amongst clubs. Additionally, parents should consider other factors such as the club's monthly fees and location of club. All these parameters complicate the selection of suitable sports clubs for children. The purpose of this research is to support parents in making decisions. Multi criterion decision making strategies are found to be suited for this problem due to the influence of more than one factor on the selection. As a consequence of the expert interviews, four critical criteria for club selection were identified, and their relative importance weights were computed using the fuzzy SWARA approach, a type of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method. Then, using another MCDM technique, the Fuzzy TOPSIS, the most appropriate club was identified. Uncertainty in the values of criteria and in the language evaluation of criteria can result in ambiguity, which can be resolved using fuzzy numbers. The findings of this study led to the ranking of the variables that should be taken into account when selecting a sports school as follows: school quality, school location, monthly fee of the school, and awareness level of the school. The best of the five alternative sports schools was selected to serve as an example and to provide a better understanding of the technique used. It is believed that the proposed scientific technique will be more effective than the intuitive approach, particularly when there are a large number of alternatives.
