Abstract
Reklam odaklı dijital yayıncılık dönemindee haberin ve haberciliğin dönüşümü Bu çalışma ile, reklam odaklı haber yayıncılığı, haberi ve haberciliği nasıl dönüştürdü sorusu ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, dijitalleşme ve reklam odaklılığın bugün Türkiye'de haber ve habercilik pratikleri üzerindeki etkilerinin genel bir görünümü sunmaktır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik yaklaşım benimsenmiş, veri toplamak için meslek profesyonelleri ile derinlemesine mülakatlar yapılmış, daha sonra veriler tematik analize tabi tutulmuştur. Katılımcıların, dijitalleşmenin habere hız, kolay erişim ve format çeşitliliği bakımından olumlu katkı sağladığını fakat güvenilirlik ve nitelik açısından sorunlara sebep olduğunu, ayrıca reklam gelirlerine bağımlılığın editoryal bağımsızlığı tehdit ettiği ve haberi kamu yararından uzaklaştırdığı konularında hemfikir olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışma sonucunda reklam odaklı modelin getirdiği kırılganlıklara karşı gelir çeşitliliği, editoryal bağımsızlığın korunması ve kaliteli içerik üretimine odaklanılması önerileri öne çıkmaktadır.
The transformation of news and journalism in the era of advertisement-oriented digital publishing This study addresses the question of how advertising-oriented news publishing has transformed both news and journalism. The primary aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of digitalization and advertising dependence on contemporary news production and journalistic practices in Türkiye. The study uses a phenomenological approach within qualitative research methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with professional journalists and subsequently subjected to thematic analysis. The findings indicate a consensus among participants that digitalization contributes positively to journalism by enhancing speed, accessibility, and format diversity, but same time brings more challenges concerning reliability and quality. Also, reliance on advertising revenues is perceived as a factor that threatens editorial independence and distances journalism from serving the public interest. The study concludes by emphasizing the necessity of revenue diversification, the safeguarding of editorial independence, and a renewed focus on the production of high quality content as essential strategies for eliminating the vulnerabilities caused by the advertisment-oriented model.
