Para politikasında hedef seçimi: enflasyon hedeflemesi Türkiye örneği

Abstract

İktisat literatüründe 1960'lı ve 1970'li yıllarla beraber hem ampirik hem de teorik alanda meydana gelen gelişmeler neticesinde para politikasının orta ve uzun dönemde tek bir nihai hedefinin olması gerektiği, onun da fiyat istikrarı olduğuna ilişkin bir görüş birliği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu nihai hedefi gerçekleştirmeye yönelik çeşitli stratejiler kullanılmakta olup enflasyon hedeflemesi bunlar arasında son dönemde ön plana çıkmıştır ve bu stratejinin uygulanabilmesi için gerekli şartlar oluştuğu takdirde TCMB'de bu stratejiye geçeceğini ilan etmiştir.

In the literature of economy, as a result of the empirical and theoretical developments in 1960s and 1970s, it has been begun to consider that there must be only one final target of the monetary policy in short-term and long-term; and there is an agreement concerning this policy is that it must be the price stabilization. Various strategies have been used in order to achieve this final target. One of them is inflation targeting, which has occurred recently, and Turkish Republic Central Bank has announced that it will perform this strategy if required conditions in order to perform this strategy are composed.
