Abstract
With its ever-expanding potential after its emergence, today the internet has transformed to allow the transmission of many broadband data, from social networks to music and video streaming. Today, the prevalence of video streaming, which constitutes the majority of internet traffic in the global sense, brings about a change in the viewing habits of individuals. As in the rest of the world, the video streaming sector in Turkey is growing day by day. This growth with intense competition, known as Flow Wars, is increasing with the entry of foreign capital into the market as well as local actors. Michael Porter's Five Forces Model was used for the competitive analysis of the video streaming industry. As a result of the research conducted with the qualitative content analysis method, it was concluded that the competition in the sector is intense and that the platforms with competitive advantage effectively use technological investment, original content production and localization strategies
