Primary Torsion of the Omentum Primary omental torsion is a rare surgical entity and less than 100 case has been reported. It usually mimicks other acute abdominal pathologies. This emphasise us routine exploration of the abdomen in the presence of serohemor-ragic fluid at the time of laparotomy in the absence of pathologic condition in the pelvis.
