Publication: Müzik öğretmeni adaylarının öğremenliğe ilişkin tutum ve mesleki yeterlik algı düzeylerinin farklı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırma müzik öğretmenliği eğitimi almakta olan birinci ve dördüncü sınıf müzik öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenliğe ilişkin tutumları ve mesleki yeterlik düzeyleri arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığını ortaya koymak için yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öncelikle 'tutum' kavramı üzerinde durulmuş günlük yaşantıdaki tutum ve bireyin mesleğine karşı tutumunun yapmakta olduğu işe yansımaları, önceki bilimsel araştırmalardan örneklerle de açıklanmıştır. İkinci olarak 'yeterlik' kavramı açıklanmış, kişisel ve mesleki yeterlik incelenmiş, araştırma konumuz müzik eğitimi olduğundan, öğretmenlikte alan dersleri yeterliği olarak da incelenmiştir. Araştırma tarama yöntemi ile yapılmış bir alan araştırmasıdır. Marmara Üniversitesi, Gazi Üniversitesi, Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Uludağ Üniversitesi, Selçuk Üniversitesi, Niğde Üniversitesi, Pamukkale Üniversitesi, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi, On sekiz Mart Üniversitesi ve Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakülteleri Müzik Öğretmenliği sınıf öğrencileri ile çalışılmıştır. Bu üniversitelerde eğitim görmekte olan öğretmen adaylarına, öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek için Abdurrahman Tanrıöğen tarafından geliştirilen,52 maddeden oluşan, likert tipli Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleki yeterlik düzeylerinin ölçülebilmesi için ise Türkçe uyarlaması Diken (2004) tarafından yapılan müzik öğretmenliği için geçerlik güvenirlik çalışması Tuzcu (2010) tarafından gerçekleştirilen,16 maddeden oluşan Öğretmenliğe İlişkin Yeterlik Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bu ölçekte beşli likert tipi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin tutum ve yeterlik düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır (p<.05). Bunun yanında ailesinde öğretmen olan öğrencilerin yeterlik düzeyleri diğer öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. retmeni adayları, mesleki yeterlik, mesleki tutum.
This research has been done to produce whether or not there is a relationship between attitudes towards teaching and levels of professional competence of first and fourth class music teacher candidates who are receiving music teacher education. Research primarily focused on the concept of attitude and attitude of daily life and the individual´s attitude towards the profession and its reflection to profession are explained with the examples of previous scientific researches. Secondly, the concept of competency is described, because our subject of research is music education, it is also described as adequacy of teaching field courses. Research is a field research which has been done by means of screening method. It was studied with first and fourth class students from Marmara University, Gazi University, Balıkesir University, Uludağ University, Selçuk University, Niğde University, Pamukkale University, DokuzEylül University, On Sekiz Mart University and Karadeniz Technical University Faculties of Education The Department of Music Teacher. To the teacher candidates who were undergoing training in these universities have been applied likert-type attitude scale to measure attitudes towards the teaching profession, which has been developed by Abdurrahman Tanrıöğen and consisting of 52 items. To measure the level of professional competence of teacher candidates, reliability study of the validity which has been done its Turkish adaptation by Diken (2004) and having been done by Tuzcu (2010), consisting of 16 items, the scale of teacher competency have been used. At this scale, it has been prepared as five-point likert –type. As a result of the research, it has emerged that there is a significant relationship statistically between students´ attitudes and proficiency levels (p<05). Besides this, it has been seemed that proficiency levels of the students, who have teachers in their families, are higher than other students.
