Resim-iş öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin resimlerinde tercih ettikleri renkler ile kişilik yapıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, İstanbul ili Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim-İş Eğitimi nda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin resimlerinde tercih ettikleri renkler ile kişilik yapıları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim-İş Eğitimi nda öğrenim gören 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinden toplam 94 kişiye Myers Briggs Tip Belirleyicisi (MBTI) ve demografik özelliklerin yanı sıra, öğrencilerin renk tercihlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Renk Tercih Formu uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizinde; frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma gibi tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotların yanı sıra niteliksel verilerin karşılaştırılmasında Pearson Ki-Kare Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin resimlerinde tercih ettikleri renkler ile dışadönük-içedönük, sezgili-duyusal, düşünen-hisseden ve yargılayıcı algılayıcı kişilik özellikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Buna göre, dışadönük kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler resimlerinde daha çok renk kullanırken, içedönük kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler monokrom renkleri tercih etmektedir. Duyusal kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler resimlerinde soğuk renkleri son sıralarda tercih ederken, sezgili kişilik tipindeki öğrenciler sıcak renkleri son sıralarda tercih etmektedirler. Düşünen kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler resimlerinde en çok ana renkleri tercih ederken, hisseden kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler ise en çok ara renkleri tercih etmektedir. Yargılayıcı kişilik tipine sahip öğrenciler resimlerinde ana renkleri son sıralarda tercih ederken, kişilik tipi algılayıcı olan öğrenciler ara renkleri son sıralarda tercih etmektedirler. Araştırmada ayrıca öğrencilerin resimlerinde tercih ettikleri sıcak-soğuk ve ana-ara renk tercihleri ile sınıf düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu, ancak renk tercihleri ile cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise türü ve Resim Atölye dersini aldıkları ders faktörlerine göre anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı saptanmıştır. In this research, the significant relation between the personality types and choice of color at the drawings of students who study at the Arts Education, Department of Fine Arts Education at the Education Faculty at Marmara University has been studied. 94 of the students who study at the 3rd and 4th grades at the Arts Education, Department of Fine Arts Education at the Ataturk Education Faculty at Marmara University have been given Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Color Choice Form to determine their choice of color and demographic features. At the analysis part of the research, such statistical methods like frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation have been used. Pearson Chi-Squared Test has also been used to compare the qualitative data. According to the research results, there is a significant relation between the choice of color and extraversion-introversion, sensing-intuition, thinking-feeling and judging-perceiving personality types. In the light of that information, those students who have an extraversion personality type prefer using many colors while those who have an introversion personality type prefer using monochrome colors. Students who have intuition personality type prefer warm colors while students who have sensing personality type prefer warm colors at their last choices. Moreover, students who have thinking personality type usually prefer primary colors while students who have feeling personality type do not prefer primary colors. Students who have judging personality type prefer using primary colors at their last choices while students who have perceiving personality type prefer using primary colors at their first choices. In this research, the fact that there is a significant relationship between grade level and choice of color, but not between gender, high school type, the factors in the drawing office and choice of color has been determined.
