İlköğretim I. kademe okul-aile işbirliği mevcut durum ve bir model önerisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, İlköğretim I. Kademe düzeyinde okul-aile arasında eğitimsel birlikteliği sağlamak, okuldaki eğitime ailenin katkısını gerçekleştirmek, mevcut uygulamaların bu konudaki ihtiyacı karşılamadığından hareketle yeni bir model önerisinde bulunmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili I. Kademe İlköğretim okulları oluşturmuştur. İstanbul ili Şişli ilçesinde bulunan 10 devlet okulu ise, araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada, okulun ailenin ve öğrencilerin okul-aile işbirliğine yönelik görüşleri, anket tekniği kullanılarak tespit edilmiştir. İstatistiksel değerlendirmelerde frekans ve yüzdeler bulunmuş, veli ile yönetici-öğretmen görüşlerinin karşılaştırılmasında ki-kare analizi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar ile öğretmenlerin, velilerin ve öğrencilerin okul-aile işbirliği ile ilgili görüşleri öğrenilmiş, veli ve öğretmen görüşleri arasındaki ilişki aranmıştır. Yönetici-öğretmen, ve velilerin; okul-aile birliğinin aldığı kararlarda velileri bilgilendirmesine ilişkin görüşler arasında, velilerin okul yönetiminin kararlarına katılmasına ilişkin yönetici-öğretmen ve veli görüşleri arasında, istatistiksel açıdan ,01 düzeyinde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Bu araştırmada, ailedeki eğitimin okuldaki eğitime alt yapı olması, okuldaki eğitimin ailede sürmesi, çevre-okul ve aile arasındaki kültürel ilişkilerin geliştirilmesi, mevcut sistemde sorunların tespiti, eğitim programlarının ve politikalarının yeniden gözden geçirilerek, çözüm önerilerinin tüm evrene genellemesi önerilmektedir.

This research is done with the aim of providing the educational co-operation between the school and the parents, to realize the parents' contribution to education and to suggest a new model thinking that the present applications do not meet the needs. The Primary schools in the city of Istanbul constitute the universe of the research. And also the ten school in the borough of Şişli are taken as model in the process of doing this research. In the research, school governers', school teachers', parents' and students' thoughts on the co-operation between school and parents are established using the survey technique. To determine the statistical evaluations, frequences and percentages had been used and in addition it's used 'chi-square' analysis to compare thoughts of parents and teachers. By means of the outcome students' and their parents thoughts on the subject are gotten and it's searched the relation between the teachers' and the parents' thoughts. After having their (school governers, teachers, parents and students) opinions on the subject the statistics are evaluated. It's seen that the statistics make sense at the rate of ',01' when they are taken out of the text. Here are the suggestions in common made by the school governers, teachers, parents and students. a)The school board should inform parents about the decisions they have made. b)Parents should actively take role in the management of education. In this research, some crucial points are emphasized such as; a. The basic principles of education should be given both by parents and teachers. b. The principles given by parents should constitute the basics of the education that is given at school. c. The problems seen in the application of present sytems should be established. d.Education programs and policies should be revised. And finally it's proposed to generalize from the result of the research to reach the solutions which are available to the whole universe of education.
