Sosyal bi̇lgi̇ler öğretmenleri̇ni̇n sanal müze kullanımına yöneli̇k tutumları

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin sanal müze kullanım düzeyini ve bu teknik konusunda sahip oldukları tutumları belirlemektir. İlkokul ve ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal bilgiler konularını teknolojik imkan ve zaman ölçüsünde daha iyi özümsemeleri için sanal müze uygulamasını kullanmaları gerekmektedir. Bunun için de öncelikle öğretmenlerin rehber olmak ve ardından öğrencileriyle beraber sanal müzeyi kullanabilmesi için bunun farkında olup bu etkinliği özümsemesi gerekmektedir. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin sanal müze kullanımına yönelik tutumlarının belirlendiği bu araştırma karma yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiştir. İstanbul'un farklı ilçelerinden toplam 126 (yüz yirmi altı) öğretmene anket uygulanmıştır. Anket sorularını cevaplayanlar arasında seçilen 13 (on üç) öğretmenle görüşme yapılmıştır. Toplam 21 maddeden oluşan 5'li likert tipi bir ölçek olan “Sanal Müze Kullanımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”(Peker,2014) kullanılmıştır.Yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda: Katılımcıların sanal müze kullanımına yönelik toplam puanı incelendiğinde madde başı ortalamanın 1,99 olduğu görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda, katılımcıların sanal müze kullanımına yönelik algılarının yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Cinsiyet değişkeni göz önüne alındığında kadınların ortalamasının, erkeklerin ortalamasından düşük olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak yapılan t-testi sonucunda kadınlar ve erkekler arasından anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca mesleki kıdem, yaş, eğitim düzeyi değişkenlerinde de anlamlı farkın olmadığı görülmüştür.

This study's primary goal is to identify the virtual museum utilization levels of social sciences teachers and their attitudes regarding this technique. It is required for elementary and secondary school students to utilize the virtual museum application to better comprehend the Social Sciences topics within technological opportunity and time. To this end, it is first required for teachers to be aware of this situation and absorb it before guiding and then using the virtual museum with their students. This study, in which Social Sciences teachers' attitudes regarding the virtual museum usage had been determined, was conducted through the mixed method. A questionnaire was applied to 126 (one hundred and twenty-six) teachers in total, who were from different districts of Istanbul. 13 (thirteen) teachers who were chosen among those who answered the questionnaire's questions were interviewed. A 5- point Likert scale consisting of 21 items in total, developed by the "Attitude Scale Regarding the Utilization of Virtual Museum" (Peker, 2014), was utilized. As a result of the studies conducted, when thing usage regarding usage ding the utilization of virtual museum was examined, it has been observed that the average score per item was 1.99. In this context, it is seen that the participants' perceptions regarding the utilization of the virtual museum are high. Considering the gender variable, it is seen that the average of females is lower than the average of males. However, as a result of the conducted t-test, it has been observed that there was no significant difference between females and males. It has also been observed that there was no significant difference in the variables of seniority, age, and education level.
