Abstract
Eş Şiddetine Maruz Kalmanın Menopoz Semptomlarına ve Kadın Sağlığına Etkisinin İncelenmesi Öğrencinin Adı ve Soyadı: Sibel Dursun Şaştımoğlu Danışmanı: Doç.Dr. Özlem CAN GÜRKAN Kadın Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Amaç: Çalışmamız, eş şiddetine maruz kalmanın menopoz semptomlarına ve kadın sağlığına etkisini incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamız tanımlayıcı, karşılaştırmalı ve kesitsel tiptedir. Çalışma, İstanbul’da bulunan bir devlet hastanesinin Menopoz polikliniğinde, Aralık 2021- Mayıs 2022 tarihleri arasında 402 katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, Tanımlayıcı Bilgi Formu, Kadına Yönelik Aile İçi Şiddet Tarama Formu, Menopoz Semptomları Değerlendirme Ölçeği ve Kadın Sağlığı Anketi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmamızdaki 402 katılımcıdan şiddetin herhangi bir türüne maruz kalan kadınların yaş ortalaması 53,63 ± 5,52 yıl, kalmayanların yaş ortalaması ise 54,97 ± 5,66 yıl olarak belirlendi (p<0,05). Şiddete maruz kalanların menopoz yaş ortalaması 45,80 ± 4,56 yıl, maruz kalmayanların 47,06±4,31 yıl olduğu ve menopoza girme yaş ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel fark olduğu saptandı (p<0,05). Çalışmamızda, son bir yıl içinde şiddete maruz kalan kadın oranının %43,30 olduğu, bunların %35,60’sının sözel şiddete, %15,20’sinin fiziksel şiddete, %17,40’ünün ekonomik şiddete ve %13,70’sinin cinsel şiddete maruz kaldıkları belirlendi (p<0.001). Çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi sonucunda; ekonomik ve cinsel şiddete maruz kalmanın hem Menopoz Semptomları Değerledirme Ölçeği puanları hem de Kadın Sağlığı Anketi puanları üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark yaratacak düzeyde etkili olduğu (p<0,001), cinsel şiddete maruz kalmanın Menopoz Semptomları Değerledirme Ölçek puanlarını 5,41 kat, ekonomik şiddete maruz kalmanın 3,73 kat, şiddetin herhangi bir türüne maruz kalmanın 2,57 kat artırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Menopoz döneminde eş şiddetine maruz kalmanın menopoz semptomlarının yaşanma şiddetini artırdığı ve kadın sağlığını olumsuz etkilediği söylenebilir.

Materials and Methods: The study is descriptive, comparative and cross-sectional. The study was carried out with 402 participants between December 2021 and May 2022 in the Menopause Polyclinic of the a public hospital, İstanbul, Türkiye. The data were obtained by using the Descriptive Information Form, the Domestic Violence Against Women Screening Form, the Menopause Rating Scale and the Women's Health Questionnaire. Results: Among the 402 participants in our study, the mean age of women who were exposed to any type of violence was 53,63 ± 5,52 years, and the mean age of those who did not was 54,97 ± 5,66 years (p<0.05). It was determined that the mean age of menopause of those who were exposed to violence was 45,80 ± 4,56 years, those who were not exposed to it were 47,06 ± 4,31 years, and there was a statistically significant difference between them in terms of the mean age of entering menopause (p<0.05). In your study, it was determined that 43,30 % of women were exposed to violence in the last year, 35,60 % of them were exposed to verbal violence, 15,20 % to physical violence, 17,40 % to economic violence and 13,70 % to sexual violence (p<0,001). As a result of multiple linear regression analysis; Exposure to economic and sexual violence had a statistically significant effect on both MRS scores and KSA scores (p<0,001), exposure to sexual violence increased MRS scores 5,41 times, exposure to economic violence 373 times, any form of violence. It has been determined that exposure to the type of violence increases 2,57 times and exposure to verbal violence increases 1,26 times.
