Abstract
Film müzikleri sinemanın doğuşundan itibaren hareketli görüntülere eşlik etmiştir. Bu eşliğin dönemlere göre nedenleri değişse de, amaçları farklılaşsa da, görüntülerin ve müziğin birlikteliği güçlenerek günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Lumière Kardeşler’le başlayan sinema serüveni, dünyanın hemen hemen her köşesine yayılırken ülkemize de gelmiştir. Ancak sinema, sadece hareketli görüntülerle gelmemiş, yanında yol arkadaşı olan müziği de getirmiştir. Dünyanın birçok yerinde sessiz filmler ülkemizde olduğu gibi müzikle birlikte sunulmuştur. Tam da bu yüzden sinema hakkında çalışma yapan bazı araştırmacılar, sinemanın aslında hiçbir zaman sessiz olmadığını ifade etmiştir. İlk dönemlerde sinemanın sesi olan müzik zaman içerisinde evrimleşerek, fon müziğinden anlatıyı destekleyen film müziğine dönüşmüştür. Bu çalışmada da film müziğinin bahsedilen dönüşümü dönemlere ayrılıp, kullanım amacının nasıl değiştiği, sesin sinemaya girmesiyle birlikte müziğin öneminin ne anlamda farklılaştığı ortaya konarak, Türk sinemasında film müziğinin ortaya çıkışı, nasıl geliştiği ve dünyadaki diğer film müziklerinden ayrıldığı noktaların neler olduğu anlatılmıştır. Bu müziklerin işlevleri 2000 sonrası Türk sinemasındaki film müzikleri üzerinden açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
Film music have been accompanimented for moving images since the birth of cinema. Althoug the reasons of this accompaniment change according to the periods and the purposes differ, the synergy of images and music continues to grow stronger and reach today. While the cinema adventure, which started with the Lumière Brothers spread to almost every corner of the World, this spread also came to our country. However, cinema did not come to our country alone. Moving images aslo brougt music as a companion. In many parts of the World, silent films are presented together with music, as in our country. Reason of this, people who work on cinema have stated that cinema is never acually silent. Music, which was the voice of cinema in the early days evolved from background music to soundtrack. In this stduy, the transformation of the soundtrack has been divided into periods and the change in the usage purposes and importance of the film music was revealed through these periods. In addition, when the film music emerged in Turkish cinema and how it was used and differences between other film musics is also included in this study. The functions of these musics are explained over the film music of the post-2000 Turkish cinema.
