Publication: Tekstil sanatında çok yüzeylilik ve heykel ilişkisi
Abstract
Tez, çok yüzeyli sanatsal tekstil çalışmalarının hacim algısı bağlamında ele alınarak sanatsal değerler doğrultusunda incelenmesi; bu çalışmaların algılanmalarında ve yeniden tanımlanmalarında katkı oluşturacak somut önermeler oluşturulması amacını taşımaktadır. Konu dört bölümde ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde; sonraki konular için zemin oluşturması amacıyla tekstilde kullanılan estetik tanımlara açıklık getirilmiştir. Tekstil el sanatları, tekstil tasarımı ve tekstil sanatlarının arasındaki sınırlar ortaya konmuştur. Bu bölümde sanatsal tekstil çalışmaların tanımlanması konusunda somut tespitler yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde; tekstil sanatında kullanılan malzeme ve yöntemler hacimsel etkileri doğrultusunda incelenmiştir. Tekstil malzeme ve yöntemleri hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilen bölümde, bu öğelerin hacim algısı açısından etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; sanat tarihinde gerçekleşen değişimlerin tekstil sanatı üzerindeki etkilerine yer verilmiştir. Resim sanatının temel değerlerinin çok yüzeyli sanatlar tekstillerin incelenmesi açısından yeterli görülmemesi nedeniyle bu çalışmaların heykel sanatının temel değerleriyle incelenmesi uygun görülmüştür. Tekstil sanatında kullanılan malzeme ve yöntemlere yüklenen uluslararası, bölgesel, kişisel anlamlarla ilgili araştırmalara yer verilen bölümde, sanatçıların bu anlam zenginliğini eserlerinde bir ifade biçimi olarak kullanışları aktarılmıştır. Bölüm sonunda yapılan değerlendirmede tekstil malzeme ve yöntemlerini diğer sanat araçlarından ayıran özelliklerin tespiti yer almaktadır. Dördüncü bölümde; disiplinlerarasılık kavramı üzerinden çok yüzeyli sanatsal tekstillerin plastik sanat disiplinleri içindeki konumuyla ilgili bir önerme geliştirilmiştir. Bölümün sonunda ülkemizde çok yüzeyli sanatsal tekstiller alanında çalışmalar gerçekleştiren sanatçılara yer verilmiştir. The thesis has the aim of forming concrete statements that could make contribution to the studies of polyhedral artistic textiles by dealing with them in the context of volume perception and analyzing these in accordance with artistic values. The subject has been handled in four sections. In the first section artistic definitions that are used in textile are made clear in order to form a basis for the next topics. The boundaries between textile handcrafts, textile designs and textile arts are presented. In this section concrete evaluations are made about defining artistic textile studies. In the second section an analysis is made about the material used in textile arts and the effects of concentration activities. In the section which gives us overall informations about textile material and methods, the effects of these are evaluated in terms of volume perception. İn the third section is given place to the impacts of the changes that occured in art history to textile arts. It has been accepted that due to not being found sufficient in terms of analyzing polyhedral artistic textiles, painting arts main values are being examined comparatively with that of sculpture art. In this section which tells about the materials and methods used in textile arts that have been ascribed meaning in terms of international, regional and personal research, the artists usage of this amplitudes in their works is being adapted. In the evaluation made in the end of the section, there is a description of the characteristics of textile material and methods. In the fourth section an idea above the notion interdisciplinary the position of polyhedral artistic textiles in disciplines of plastic arts is produced. In the end of the section it is given place to the artists that did study in the field of polyhedral artistic textiles in our country.
