Üniversite öğrencilerinde aile iklimi ve iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkide benlik kurgularının aracı rolünün incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinde aile iklimi ve iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkide benlik kurgularının aracı rolünün Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli çerçevesinde incelenmesidir. Aile iklimi, iyi oluş ve benlik kurgularının çeşitli demografik değişkenler (cinsiyet, aile tipi, fakülte türü, anne baba eğitim düzeyi, anne-baba tutumları) açısından incelenmesi de amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi’nde 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde aktif öğrenim gören toplam 25123 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, evrenden çok aşamalı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi’nde aktif öğrenim gören 371’i (% 68,6) kadın, 170’i (% 31,4) erkek toplam 541 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kişisel bilgi formu, PERMA (Beş Boyutlu İyi Oluş) Ölçeği, Aile İçinde Özerk-İlişkisel Benlik Ölçeği ve Aile İklimi Ölçeği kullanılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi, SPSS 23 paket AMOS 20.0 aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın amaçlarını test etmek üzere verilerin analizinde Bağımsız Gruplar t Testi, ANOVA (Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi), Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyonu ve Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda üniversite öğrencilerinin iyi oluş, benlik kurguları ve aile iklimi özelliklerinin bazı demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Kurulan yapısal eşitlik modelinde aile iklimi ve iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkide benlik kurgularının kısmi aracı rolünün olduğu görülmektedir. YEM analizi sonuçlarına göre, test edilen modelin uyum indekslerinin kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğu bulgulanmıştır.

The aim of this study is to investigate the mediating role of self-construals in the relationship between family climate and well-being in the framework of Structural Equation Modeling. It’s also aimed to examine family climate, well-being and self-construals in terms of various demographic variables (gender, family type, faculty type, parents' education level, parental attitudes).The research was conducted in accordance with the relational screening model. The population of the study consisted of 25123 students who were active in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year in Eskişehir Osmangazi University. The sample of the study consisted of 541 students 371 (68.6%) women and 170 (31.4%) males who were selected from the population with a multi-stage sampling method who were studying in the Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Data were collected by using the personal information form, PERMA (Five Dimensional Well-being) Scale, Autonomous-Related Self in Family Scale and Family Climate Scale.The analysis of the data obtained from the study was carried out through the SPSS 23 package program and the AMOS 20.0 program. In order to examine the objectives of the research, Independent Samples t Test, ANOVA (One-Way Analysis of Variance), Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and Structural Equation Model were used to analyze the data.As a result of the research, it has been determined that the well-being, self-construals and family climate characteristics of university students differ according to some demographic variables. In the structural equation model established, it has been observed that self-construals has a partial mediator role in the relationship between family climate and well-being. According to the SEM analysis results, the fit index of the model tested has been found to be acceptable.
