Abstract

Popüler ya da tüketim kültürü olarak adlandırılan günümüz dünyasında üretim nesneleri, ihtiyaç olmalarının dışında simgesel bir dil oluşturmaktadır. Bireylerin bu tür nesnelere yüklediği sembolik anlamlara ise “fetişizm” denmektedir. İşlevinin dışında büyüsel içeriğe sahip fetiş nesneler, kullananlara ya da inananlara yeni bir kimlik kazandırmaktadır. Fotoğraf sanatçılarına göre fetiş nesnelerin kullanım değeri ise daha sorgulayıcı niteliktedir. Toplum nezdinde kabul görmüş düşünce biçimlerine karşı durarak üretimlerinde eleştirel bir dil oluşturmaktadırlar. Fetiş nesneler aracılığıyla üretim yapan, sıra dışı görseller sunan fotoğraf sanatçıları, izleyicinin düşünce ve algı sınırlarını zorlamaktadırlar. Bu çalışma ile fetişizm kavramı ve fetiş nesneler aracılığıyla üretim yapan sanatçıların eleştirel düşünceleri araştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. In today’s world defined as popular on culture of consumption items of production. Constitutel a figurative language apart from being a necessity. Accordingly, thosesort of meanings that are embodiedto such objects symbolically are called as “fetishism”. These fetish objects that contain there own functions together with a magical content being their users or believers a new identity. According to artists of photography, fetish objects hold a comprehensive interragative quality of usage for utilization. In the perception of society, they Constitutea critical longuge standing against all Those accepted ways of thinking. Those photographers of art who present extraordinaryvisuals via fetish objects push the limits of perceptions and thoughts of their observers. In their study, the concept fetihism and the ways of thinking of the artists that produce their art via fetish objects have been armed to be researched thoroughly. In the text, a sort of language has been constituted over various form of perceptions in terms of the concept of fetishism.
