FILM NOIR'DAN NEO-NOIR'A GEÇİŞ Her sanat dalında olduğu gibi sinemanın da tarihsel gelişim süreci içerisinde etkilendiği sosyopolitik ve ekonomik olaylar ile sanatsal ve felsefi akımlar yeni türlerin oluşmasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu türler içerisinde en çok tartışılanlardan biri de Film Noir, yani Kara Film'dir. Merkezine suç temasını yerleştiren Film Noir Birinci Dünya Savaşı ertesinde altın çağını yaşadıktan sonra girdiği duraklama döneminden 1960lı yıllarda Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin geçirdiği siyasal ve toplumsal çalkantılardan fazlasıyla etkilenerek çıkmış ve yeniden popüler olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Film Noir türünün Neo-Noir'a dönüşme sürecinde geçirdiği köklü değişimin 1960lı yılların sonundan itibaren her on yıllık dönemin kendi sosyopolitik koşulları ve Amerikan sinemasının yükselen trendleri ile ne derece parallellik arzettiği belli başlı filmler temel alınarak gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Neo-Noir'ın klasik Kara Film örneklerine yapılan bilinçli göndermelerle dolu olmasının yanısıra eskisine oranla çok daha sert bir dil, daha karamsar bir atmosfer, düzden ziyade çok katmanlı bir anlatım ve popüler kültür motifleriyle bezenmiş postmodern bir yapıya büründüğü görülmektedir. Among those genres, one of the most controversial ones is Film Noir, which takes crime as its essential motif. Having been affected by the changes that the United States of America has been through, Film Noir has gradually regained its popularity since the late 1960s after the unproductive period that followed its golden age enhanced basically by the wounds of World War I. In this work, the degree of parallelism between the new trends in the American cinema, which has been inevitably influenced by the sociopolitical events, and the radical transition process from Film Noir to Neo-Noir is attempted to be shown through certain films. It's seen that besides the deliberate references to classical Film Noir pieces, Neo-Noir films seem to have adopted a stronger language, a much more darker atmosphere, an anti-linear narrative style and a visual style with a postmodern twist deeply affected by popular culture motifs.
