Abstract

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation has been increasingly used in the treatment of many diseases since the 1950s. Post-transplant immune reconstitution is depended to the stem cell source, immuno suppressive interventions used, complications, the cell subgroups which can improve at different times. Immune reconstitution starts right after stem cell transplantation and can extend up to 5 years.
