Rüstem Paşa Tarihi (H.699-968 / M.1299-1561) (inceleme-metin, vr.120b - vr.293b)

Abstract

On altıncı asrın mühim devlet erkânından ve aynı zamanda devrin padişahı Kanunî Sultan Süleyman’ın damadı olan Rüstem Paşa’ya atfedilen bir kronik, araştırmamızın konusunu teşkil etmektedir. Avusturya Milli Kütüphane (Österreichische Nationalbibliothek) Cod. Mixt. 339 ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Kütüphanesi 2438 numarada kayıtlı olan en kâmil iki nüshası mukayeseli olarak kritik edilmiş ve eserin bir muamma haline gelen müellifi hakkında etraflı araştırmalar yapılarak bazı neticelere ulaşılmıştır. Rüstem Paşa’ya atfedilen bu Osmanlı tarihinin varak 120b-293b arası, tezin metin kısmını oluşturmaktadır.

A chronical that is attributed to Rustem Pasha, one of the most significant bureacrats of the 16th century and also is the groom of Suleiman the Magnificient, is the subject of the research. Two most complete manuscripts, one is registered at Österreichische Nationalbibliothek Cod. Mixt. 339; and the other is registered at the Library of the Istanbul University at number 2438, are studied comparatively and an examination is made in detail about the author of the chronical. The foils between 120b-293b of the manuscript make up the text body of the thesis.
