Abstract
Demokrat Partililerin Hatıratlarında İktidar Muhalefet İlişkileri (1946-1954) ÖZET Tez, Türkiye'de demokrasinin gelişip yerleşmesi yolunda yapılan denemelerinin üçüncüsü sayılan ve aynı zamanda DP'nin siyasi sahneye çıktığı yılları da kapsayan (1946-1954) dönemi içermektedir. Eser esasta iki ana bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Bölümler kendi aralarında aynı adı taşıyan alt başlıklara ayrılır. Birinci bölümde DP'nin muhalefet yıllarında iktidar, basın ve ordu ile ilişkileri ayrı ayrı incelenerek araştırılan dönemin sosyo-kültürel ve sosyo- ekonomik hayatı, ülkenin geçirdiği değişim ve dış politikada gelişen olaylar yine ayrı başlıklar halinde ortaya konmuştur. İkinci bölümde de DP'nin iktidara gelişinden sonraki ilk 4 yılın aynı usul ve konu başlıklarıyla anlatımı yer almıştır. Sunuş kısmında teze kaynaklık eden hatıra kitaplarının kısa tavsifleri yapılmıştır. Bundan amaç, teze yönelik akla gelebilecek neden niçin? sorularının bir nebze de olsa cevabını verebilmektir. Zira hatıra kitaplarında yer alan konu ve meseleler aynı zamanda tezin genel çerçevesini oluşturmaktadır. 1946-50 yılları arasında cereyan eden siyasi gelişmeler ve toplumsal durum, DP'nin kurulup büyümesinde etkin olan nedenler, din ve laiklik anlayışı, ekonomide izlenilen tavır birinci bölümün ağırlık noktasını oluşturur. Dış politikada meydana gelen değişiklik, muhalefet partisi olarak DP'nin basınla olan münasebetleri ve özellikle 50 seçim öncesi Ordu'nun DP'ye bakışı hatıratlarda yansıdığı şekilde kaleme alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise DP'nin bir iktidar partisi olarak muhalefetle nasıl bir ilişki içinde olduğu, iktidarının ilk 4 yıllık döneminde toplumsal refah düzeyinde meydana gelen gelişmeler, dış politikada takip ettiği siyaset ve aldığı kararlar, basına yönelik uygulamaları ve ordu ile ilişkileri irdelenmiştir. The Relations Between Goverment And Opposition In The Recollection Books Of Democrat Party Followers
This thesis covers the period of third experiment of Turkey for the sake of taking progress and establishing the Democracy and it also includes the time period of 1946-1954 which Democrat Party (DP) first appeared in the Turkish political arena. This work, in essence, consists of two main parts. Those parts, within themselves, have the same subtitles. In the first part, DP's relations scparately examined with the government, media and the military while DP in opposition. In addition, the country's socio-cultural and socio-economic conditions, the country's experience with changes and advancements, and the changing conditions in the foreign policy separately examined. In the second part, the time period of the first four years after DP took the power, studied by using same method and subject titles. In the 'Introduction' part of the thesis, the recollection books which are used as references briefly described. The reason why for that is to answer, even a bit, the questions of 'why?'. The events and issues discussed in the recollection books also draw general framework of the thesis. Political situations which took place in 1946-1950 and the social position, the main reasons of DP's establishment and spread, religious and secularist understanding, the economic policy followed are the main topics discussed in the first part. The changes in the foreign policy, DP's relations wiyh media as an opposition party, and the military's view about DP before 1950 election is written as they were reflected in the recollection books. In the second part, DP's relations with the opposition after taking the power, the social developments and social welfare in the first years of the power, policies followed and decisions taken in the foreign politics, relations with media and military thoroughly studied.
