Publication: Beta-hemolitik streptokokların penisilin toleransı
Abstract
Bu çalışma p-hemolitik streptokoklarda penisilin toleransını saptamak üzere düzenlenmiştir. Penisilin MBK/MİK oranı > 32 olduğunda kökenler toleran, > 16 olduğunda orta derecede toleran olarak kabul edilmiştir. Kırk Grup A streptokok kökeninin üçü toleran dördü orta derecede toleran ve 44 Grup B streptokok kökeninin biri toleran, biri orta derecede toleran olarak saptanmıştır. Ek olarak, grup B streptokok kökenlerinin penisilin MİK ve MBK değerlerinin grup A streptokoklardakine göre 16 kat yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur, İncelenen iki tane grup C ve 11 tane grup G streptokok kökeninde tolerans saptanmamıştır.
This study was conducted to determine penicillin tolerance in ji-hemolytic streptococci isolated from sporadic cases in the authors' hospital. Tolerance was defined as MBC/MIC> 32 and intermediately tolerant as > 16. Three tolerant and four moderately tolerant strains were found among 40 isolates of group A streptococci (GAS); one tolerant and one moderately tolerant among 44 group B streptococci (GBS). Additionally, both MIC and MBC values of GBS were sixteen fold greater than that of GAS. Two group C streptococci and 11 group G streptococci exhibited no tolerance to penicillin.
