Abstract
YENİLENEBİLİR ENERJİ KAYNAKLARININ ORTA DOĞU EKONOMİLERİNE BEKLENEN ETKİLERİ Teknoloji alanındaki ilerlemeye dayalı olarak 21. yüzyılın başından itibaren fosil yakıtlarla maliyette rekabet edebilir hale gelmeye başlayan çevre dostu yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının, içinde bulunduğumuz yüzyılın ilerleyen döneminde dünya enerji üretiminde alacağı payın artacağına kesin gözüyle bakılmaktadır. Takip eden süreçte ise yine teknolojik ilerlemeye dayalı olarak yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının dünyanın enerji ihtiyacını karşılama noktasında başat enerji kaynakları olacakları öngörülmektedir. Enerji üretiminde kaynak dönüşümünü doğuracak bu süreç, enerji ve enerji ile etkileşim içindeki tüm alanlarda önemli değişimleri beraberinde getirecektir. Çalışmamızda enerji üretiminde kaynak değişimini zorlayan yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları çeşitleri, özellikleri, fosil yakıtlar karşısındaki avantajları ve dezavantajları ile ayrı başlıklar altında incelenmiştir. Dünya enerji sektöründe önde gelen devletlerin yenilenebilir enerji alanına ilgileri incelenerek ve enerji alanında faaliyet gösteren üst düzey kurumların geleceğe ilişkin model ve tahminlerinden istifade edilerek enerjide beklenen dönüşüm süreci ortaya konulmuştur. Orta Doğu bölgesine mensup ülkelerin enerji üretimindeki tercihleri detayıyla aktarılmış, yenilenebilir enerji alanına eğilimleri ve bu kaynakların bölgeye uygunlukları ülkeler özelinde ve bölge geneli için tespit edilmiştir. Tüm bu verilerin ışığında enerji sektöründen başlayarak mevcut medeniyetimize ilişkin birçok başlığı etkilemesi beklenen enerjide dönüşüm sürecinin Orta Doğu ülkelerinde olacak tesirleri, başta ekonomik, sosyo-politik ve çevresel alanları kapsayacak şekilde tespit edilmiştir.
THE EXPECTED EFFECTS OF RENEWABLE ENERGIES TO MIDDLE EASTERN ECONOMIES Based on the progress in the field of technology, it is considered that the share of renewable energies – which have started to compete with fossil fuels since the beginning of the 21st century – will increase in terms of production in the coming period of the current century. In the following process, it is predicted that renewable energy sources will dominate and expand to the point of meeting the energy needs of the world, based on technological progress. This process, which will lead to resource transformation in energy production, will bring along important changes in energy and all its related areas. In our study, renewable energy sources, which induce resource change in energy production, are examined under separate headings with their types, features, advantages and disadvantages compared to fossil fuels. The expected transformation process in energy sector has been revealed by examining the interest in renewable energies of the world leading states in this sector and by benefiting the future models/ predictions of high-level institutions operating in the field of energy. The energy production preferences of the Middle Eastern countries were explained in detail, their tendencies in the field of renewable energy and the suitability of these resources were determined for the countries and for the region in general. In the light of all these data, the effects of the energy transformation process on the Middle East economies have been determined, including sociological, political, and environmental fields.
