DKAB öğretmenlerinin aldıkları din eğitiminin, duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile mesleki öz-yeterliliklerine etkisi üzerine bir araştırma (İstanbul Anadolu yakası örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın çıkış noktası, son yıllarda pek çok alanda olduğu gibi öğretmenlik alanında da üzerine sayısız çalışma yapılmış olan “Duygusal Zekâ” ve “Mesleki Öz-yeterlilik İnancı” kavramlarıyla ilgili din eğitimi alanındaki çalışmaların hayli az olmasıdır. Bu çalışmada ise söz konusu kavramlar ile din dersi öğretmenlerinin aldıkları din eğitimi ve sonucunda geliştirdikleri din anlayışları arasındaki ilişkiler araştırma konusu edilmiştir. Tarama modelleri arasında ilişkisel tarama modeline göre hazırlanan bu araştırmanın evren kümesi, ortaokul düzeyinde çalışan din dersi öğretmenlerinden oluşurken, örneklem kümesi ortaokulda görev yapan 122 kadın ve 64 erkek din dersi öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. İstanbul'un Anadolu yakasında görev yapan bu öğretmenler, olası örnekleme yöntemlerinden biri olan uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, uygulama kolaylığı ve farklı ilçelerde çalışan geniş bir öğretmen kitlesine ulaşmaya imkân sağlaması açısından anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu çerçevede, katılımcıların demografik özelliklerinin belirlenmesinde “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, dindarlık düzeyi hakkında bilgi edinmek amacıyla kısaltılmış “Dindarlık ölçeği”, duygusal zekâ düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde “Schutte Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği” ve mesleki öz- yeterliliklerinin belirlenmesinde ise “Öğretmen Öz Yeterlilik Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda din dersi öğretmenlerinin hayat boyu aldıkları din eğitimi ve bu eğitim dolayısıyla geliştirdikleri din anlayışı ile duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ve mesleki öz-yeterlik inançları arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur.

The starting point of this study that is very low the studies in the field of religious education related to the concepts of Emotional Intelligence and Professional Self-efficacy Belief, which have been done numerous studies in the field of teaching as in many fields in recent years. In this study, the relationship between the mentioned concepts and the religious education received by religious teachers and the religious conceptions they developed as a result of the research has been the subject of research. While the universe set of this research, which is prepared according to the relational screening model among screening models, consists of religious class teachers working at the secondary school level, the sample set consists of 122 female and 64 male religious course teachers working in the secondary school. These teachers, who work in the Anatolian side of Istanbul, have been determined with the appropriate sampling method, which is one of the possible sampling methods. In the research, the questionnaire technique was used in order to ease the application and to reach a wide range of teachers working in different districts. In this context, “Personal Information Form” was used to determine the demographic characteristics of the participants, “Religiosity scale” shortened to learn about the level of religiosity, “Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale” was used to determine the levels of emotional intelligence, and “Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale” was used to determine their professional self-efficacy. As a result of the research, it has been found out that there is a significant relationship between their religious understanding of religious education teachers, they developed for life and their emotional intelligence levels and their professional self-efficacy beliefs.
